I think I have the technically rarest pet in game, tied with the pioneer dragon guy. If I can message you somehow, I can show you my message form J Todd Coleman when he was still working at Wizard101. Back then he used to have a private Facebook account, and I messaged him that I was so frustrated about there being rumors of a fire beetle pet and nobody could seem to figure out the combination to hatch it. He messaged me back with a code for the pet and I redeemed it. I got myself in trouble on wizard101 central and was banned because I would just spin and show off the pet in the pet pavilion but did not tell anyone how I got it. Todd told me not to tell anyone lol. But I snitched on myself on central that I was the spinning guy, they banned me. It’s just a basic beetle so the talent pool is crappy, but I think by default I am tied with the pioneer dragon guy. How many people can say the original creator of the game gifted you an undiscovered (at the time) pet? lol. The message even shows the code still.

If you ever decide to make a part 3 to your Wizard101 Iceberg series, here's a cool easter egg you can add: For players who have finished the main storyline of Khrysalis, the music in Bastion stops when you go to the last spot where you see Old Cob, over a small hill/ledge. I always found it creepy because it reminds you of what Old Cob told you before leaving Khrysalis.

Even though we have monsterology now a days one thing i wish the devs did back in the day was create a Sylvia Drake minion card. After beating her you would be able to summon her and her moveset would be similar to the one she had back when Malistare was at 100k. She would also have her own attack spells as well.

I remember an old PvP glitch around 2013, where if you would press the escape key on your keyboard and exit out of the game, you wouldn't lose any rank. I used this to get an old myth wizard with like 2000 rating before they fixed it.

Nice vids Gladrocker. I've watched your w101 icebergs as well. I've been playing since 2010 and one thing I remember is that there were old pass animations in combat. Your wizard would look like they're surfing if they had a wand or if you had a staff, you'd just cup it with your hand.

I have no obscure facts to share, but I do fondly remember reaching level 16 on a free account thanks to high level friends. I also met this guy who watched so many ads and got so many free crowns that he bought his way to level 30. Little me was so jealous.

Yes the heck hound is called Höllenhund (hell hound) in German. But did you know the helephant or hellephant is a hell elephant in German as well? Thed morphed the two words and made "Höllifant"

Any retired or unhatchable bodies can be hatched to an exclusive. And any stats can be put on a pioneer dragon. Pioneer dragons pool isn’t special, storm beetle isn’t, you can put any type of pool you want on them. Hatch a storm beetle or pioneer dragon to an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INFO EDIT - until recently, some pet bodies could not have customized pools, because a hybrid pet would be given back from hatch. NOWADAYS WE HAVE EXCLUSIVE PETS. EXCLUSIVE PET WHEN LENT, GIVES THE HATCHER, THE EXACT PETBODY THEY HATCHED BACK! EVEN IF HATCHER USING RETIRED, HYBRID SPITTING PET. EXCLUSIVE, HYBRID THROWER/RETIRED ARE NOT THE SAME THING EXCLUSIVE CAN BE USED TO MAKE A RETIRED/HYBRID SPITTING PARENT THROW A TWIN WITH BETTER STATS INSTEAD OF HYBRID VARIANT WHEN HATCHING TO NON EXCLUSIVE

When i made my first wizard my first wand was so op it had spells that transformed my wizard into other characters and had one tap spells and full heal spells easy to say it got me through most levels super easy sadly my account got deleted idk why but i miss it

got reported for using foul language because it dotted when i spoke it was a typo and it only showed the dots

did you know that spells have a different animation or sound for when they fizzle? fire spells are the easiest to tell the difference of. put them side by side and pay attention to the hue of the two little flares that circle your wizard as you cast it.

Yes! Balance Pig and balance elf both belong in S tier. And Ice Cyclops belongs in its very own new double SS tier! For real, that form makes storm elf look like F tier. You *must* tier ice cyclops! It’s nearly a win every time with its broken taunt + aura + conditions. Wonder if it’ll get nerfed any time soon!

As for the Vine videos, I never used the app, so my only exposure to it in regards to Wiz were the videos they posted on the verified Wizard101 KZread, which they never really used again.
