I wish there would be an option on team up to toggle “full dungeon” so people would know a player wants to do the whole thing.

Thank you for commenting! That would def be an interesting change! I feel like it's also up to players to make that decision as well, some people lie that they're gonna do full run and then just leave after Yevgeny anyways lol. Team up could def be added to/changed.

I think it'd be cool if Malistaire could also drop the Yevgeny athames and if Shane's Star version could drop the amulets. More incentive to do a full run that way

no longer play wiz but when i discovered discord a few years back, I completely stopped using team up. finding a group with a hitter that all knows their roles was just life changing for me. I think wiz is unplayable without using discord actually

Great video! I also see my name complaining in a screenshot you included. LOL. I am Scarlet Raincloud & Fiona Moonheart who did a run with you a couple days back and you gave me your username to check your channel out! You made excellent points. I think an endorsement system like in Overwatch would be beneficial for this game, considering how crucial it is to work with teammates for runs like Darkmoor. I recently got both of my accounts to level 100, and it took me 5 tries to finish the entire dungeon because people kept leaving. There's a LOT of selfish, rude players in this community.

Can't really blame you there, besides PvP it's probably the most toxic place in Wiz lol.

The fact that the Graveyard dungeon takes long honestly discourages me from doing multiple runs a day with my remaining Wizards yet to get gear that would satisfy me. It’s at the point where if my Ice gets better boots and my Balance gets a better hat, my Storm would have to farm Moros the Doom Tree.

I got fed up with doing runs with people that i ended up just having two accounts play at once so i can ignore the toxic players and i tend to go back to dungeons like darkmoor and help other peoole that are not well versed in the game. Great video and if you need help with darkmoor runs i wouldn't mind helping

I think an interesting feature KI should implement is one where it shows your level underneath your school when on Team Up. This would speed up the time one may have to go through if the majority of them on Team Up are lower levels or something thats way off than what the level of the dungeon should be for. Also I agree that a Team Up reward would actually incentivize players to help others in Team Up and promote good behavior.

To be honest, I kind of contributed to this issue. I recently came back after 6 years and had no idea about the Morganthe change, only realizing when someone told me after many hours of grinding. For the next day I decided to grind Yevgeny, trying my best to make myself go through the whole dungeon as to not leave people astray. But after 10 hours straight of not getting anything I just gave up and did exactly what you mentioned and repeatedly left after the first fight, intentionally not informing people if I was staying or leaving. Obviously, I should have just stayed, but when there is no longer an alternative to an item of that caliber for the foreseeable future, it kind of puts things in a bind. I definitely thing that Kingsisle should implement the old Morganthe items or provide other alternatives or methods to prevent this. Maybe even a specific category in the team up section where you can identify a certain boss that you are trying to farm. Apologies for the text wall.

I agree 100% with all your points. I think the Yevgeny athame should at least have better drop rates, or some alternatives. My Ice ran Darkmoor about 20 times, got multiple sets of Mali gear, but never got the athame. I had to get help from a max storm on the official discord and we ran it 10 more times until I got it. It's insane. Also, an endorsement system would be great, and I think it could even be similar to how the game rewards you for helping others in team up, like getting badges or exclusive rewards. And finally, YES I would LOVE some actual good bazaar gear in arc 2. I think the game could also benefit from buffing Alantea and Tartarus drops, and maybe even add another dungeon for level 80 or something. I think using Waterworks gear for 40 levels is boring, and adding good alternatives to Darkmoor or Waterworks would make the game more interesting. I personally dread hitting level 100 just because I know how irritating farming Darkmoor is.

Yes! I love the idea of another dungeon at level 80. By Azteca running WW is really annoying especially if you're on a non-hitting school. Sorry about your Ice, it's probably gonna be the same story with my balance lol 😥. Thank you for watching the video and commenting!

I agree with your points apart from when you said about helping players who have no good gear (bazaar geae) into getting better athames/amulets etc. Im not the type who flames in chat but whenever I see those people I get mad because farming waterworks is so easy nowadays thay I find it unacceptable not willing to farm it. In short terms I considering it willingly sabotaging the process because you are too bored to farm basic gear.

I can't really fault for you that. It frustrates me too, I was more of talking about how people shouldn't really flame others (which you already said you don't do) and to see if they can at least get them to do something to make the run a bit better even if it's still not optimal. I also think that farming WW is standard and everyone should do it but no matter what we think there will always be players that don't want to farm it and being toxic won't do anything about it. Either way though, thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Agree with that, over 80 runs on Ice and no Athame is horrendous.

Is wiz getting more toxic in general? I started a new character recently and had a few bad experiences in just Arc 1, which I feel tended to be the most carefree before. I can somewhat understand how major dungeons, like darkmoor, get some bad stigma due to the various cheats and how long and rng it can feel, but arc 1? I was more of a solo player before but honestly with some of the people I've dealt with its seems like anything requiring team-up is way more of a chore than a fun challenge. Not to say that the game has been overtaken. I still feel like the average wiz player I run into is decently nice but it's definitely disheartening to feel as though the more toxic side has grown.

I want to say that it really hasn't gotten more toxic in general but def in more focused dungeons like you said. I'm surprised people were being toxic in Arc 1 of all places but the Wiz community can be kinda elitist at times but there are still friendly players, you probably just got unlucky with the people you met. Was running darkmoor yesterday and people are beyond toxic! Also only coming for the athame really messes it up for everyone else! Really ruins the experience for some people. Very much thankful for everyone who stays even tho they are farming !!❤️❤️

My first play through of wiz ever, I had to quit farming this dungeon and move on because i got constantly flamed as well as people leaving after either secret boss or first fight, told to kms and other classic insults, it was my first bad wiz experience and it was shocking at the time

I'm sorry to hear that experience. My first time in Darkmoor was in 2020 and I felt the same way you do about it being your first bad wiz experience. I'm hoping that KI changes a few things and the community there gets less toxic at around that area because getting past Khrysalis without Darkmoor is really hard and as it is it's a horrible experience. Honestly you make accurate points about farkmoot as a whole back when the max was 130 I would try to help wizards through graveyard I told I'll help as a max it's our job to help the next generation of wizards with the game that being said I rarely ever go to darkmoor because that place has become too ridiculous and full of nonsense i remember doing ice wiz in graveyard it wasn't pleasant to day the least I hate doing darkmoor nowadays because its getting worse over the years but with morganthe athame gone it gottan worse back then some people would farm the zombie guy other would just farm morganthe after reaching her domain or using another wiz to do so myself included doing morganthe before ki made the athame legacy sad to say I remember doing darkmoor as a balance and some dumb fire called me a leech just for doing what balance wizard's do blading feinting healing and shielding you get the idea now that might in particular I would have gave the fire a piece of my mind and probably call him out on his shit but I was mentally exhausted that night because darknoor can mentally drain a person literally I even when I use my max wiz st the time going the extra mile to help wiz in graveyard well I still go but it's very rare that I do so few Days back I did darkmoot helping out a team and they appreciate the help which makes me smile but other times when I do the damn dungeon some people will leave after the damn zombie which frustrates me to no end some people are idiots I remember I joined the dungeon one night and told them I'll help them out with the whole dungeon buy some fool left before we go to battle the infuriated me but I got over it and just shake my head and disappointment I formerly loved doing darkmoor back in the day but nowadays I just don't it's mentally exhausting how to deal with idiots who don't know what they're doing.

Yeah I see what you mean! The dungeon has just gotten worse and worse as time goes on and it needs to be addressed. I've never been called a Leech on Balance before but my last few runs have def been super toxic.
