I'm not a dice goblin, but I'm a dice Githyanki in that my dice trove is maybe a little decadent, but intentional. B+G put out stone dice versions of its Rogue and Barbarian dice in cool wooden boxes (though they don't work well as dice trays) for an anniversary, wish they had put out more classes, those sets were nice. But yeah on price point, B+G is unabashedly a "premium" game aid purveyor.

The original class dice are $20-$25 depending on where you buy them. Granted they come in a much smaller tin and doesn't have the fancy protection for the dice, which I assume is where the majority of the cost increase comes from.

12+8 then 4+16, both equal to 20, those dice really are magic.

Very cool that they include more of the dice each class would use more frequently. I might see if the rest of my group would want to chip in on the Game Master set as a gift for our DM at the end of our campaign.

The dice are cool and made for the class. I bought them for Christmas gifts for my Game I run with my Military Veteran friends. ❤

The Alchemist seems to be filling in the spot where the Artificer would be. (At least for the original sets.)

DCC Dice set run about $30 for 14 dice. Is the tin worth an extra $30

I like the design, though I am not 100% sure that the dice are balanced, as I feel like I get a lot of low rolls with Beadle and Grimm dice. I want to try using a dice tower and see if that fairs any better.

They do not at the moment for the epic Dice tray. Those are for the original dice tray. The original are still nice, but they are missing the impressive dice tray of the epic, but they are 50% cheaper. From what I can tell, I think the epic dice have been slightly redesigned. I'd post pictures but I don't think KZread has that function.

What, no ranger?

They do have a ranger in a smaller version, but right now it looks like only a handful of classes are available for the “epic” sets with the bigger tin/tray

The epic dice are new and I believe they are slowly rolling out all the class options. They probably started with the more popular dice based on their previous sells or the dice that needed to be replaced first. I'm sure they are going to remake all the original class dice over the next year or so.
