    Factors behinds successful shifts in India's foreign policy excellently articulated by Mr. Akbaruddin: 1. Economic stability 2. Leadership willing to take risks 3. Presence of good diplomatic service (tool / instrument) 4. Searching for opportunities among challenges 5. Willingness to be more active The big difference in this context is the leadership willingness to take risks which he acknowledges so eloquently.

People like Owaisi does not want his people to be educated as they will become Indian citizens and he will lose his hold on them to spread his poison.This is the position in Pakistan aswell the elite have made sure that majority of the population has no means of good education so have no choice but Madrassas to keep this cycle of hatred going. Mr. Akbaruddine explained India's foreign policy paradigm well in Mr. Modi's ten years. However, there are some Foreign Policy blunders Mr. Jaisahnkar and his comrade, Mr. Modi, are responsible for, 1). The revocation of Article 370 has resulted in a continuous military, economic, diplomatic and political conflict with China. That cold war-like scenario and hot border in the Ladakh region would cost India over two precious trillion dollars over the years. 2). Overseas killings of Canadian, British, American and Pakistani nationals have seriously challenged India and its image as a responsible state. 3). The demise of SARC, a regional cooperation initiative, is doomed because of Mr. Modi's incompetence and myopic approach in hand-picking advisors, EAM, Mr. Jaishankar, Mr. Ajit Doval, Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. Rajnath. 4) A recent G20 in India could not agree on a Joint Communique, another blunder of EAM and event planners under Mr. Jaishankar. I wish there had been a statesman, like Mr. Wajpayee and Mr. Singh in Delhi instead of Mr. Modi during the past ten years. The current Indian Prime Minister is a self-centred, egoistic and myopic leader, and his rein will cost India, the Indians and the rest of the world dearly long after his departure since he has eroded the social fabric of India, the world's largest population that has 5000 years of thriving history. What an insult to a country of great people by a man who applied the Gujrat model to the whole of India and ruined everything.

    Rather short sighted to blame Modi and Jaishankar for everything. SAARC has been dead for ages because of cross border terrorism. For killings mentioned in pt 2., there is no proof...just some anti-national forces being given a platform by countries like Canada...and revocation of article 370 is helping in developing Kashmir. Isn't internal welfare and development more important than keeping a quarrelsome neighbour happy?

  • @gauravipal9518

    @gauravipal9518

    1. Vajpayee was stabbed in the back with Kargill and Parliamnt attack. Manmohan Singh stabbed in the back with 26/11. 2. Removing article 370 has resulted in end to stone pelting and disruption of J&K students through unending hartals enforced by terrorists. 3. The dispute with China greatly predates removal of article 370. There was a war in 1962, a major skirmish in 1967 and even more recently a standoff in Dokalam in 2017. No basis to link problems with China to removal of article 370. 4. Amit Shah, Doval and Jaishankar are gems of India. Why should Imdia remove them? 5. Under PM Modi 250 million people have been uplifted from poverty. India will re-elect him again in next 3 months. Please note Pakistsnis don't have a say in Indian elections. 6. Yes SAARC was made dysfunctional because all connectivity initiatives were opposed by Pakistan. So a new grouping of most SAARC countries which excludes PKistan and includes Thailand called BIMSTEC has been instituted and it is moving smoothly.

    All your statements are subjective except the last one, which is coming from complete ignorance....go and look at it again...India was able to extract a joint declaration in the last G20 summit and that's the huge success. Moreover, very recently Canada has declared that no proof of Indian hand in Nijjar killing. Anyway, I guess Indians are not bothered about killing of the enemies sitting abroad, every powerful country does that. So do India.
