That box was exciting. So secret time..lol. My son brought me a VHS tape that had $200 folded up in it. He asked me what he should do...I bought it for him 😊😊 They got their $ ❤

You asked if those cards were full of money. I got a box of vintage used greeting cards at an auction and they were kid's cards. They each had a $1 in them, nobody ever took them out. I ended up with more money than I paid for the lot! Was like a treasure hunt.

I found some La Sportiva rock climbing ahoes at the Bins once. I knew they were worth money right away because my ex was a rock climber. I sold them for $38 used!

I buy most of my greeting cards at Dollar Tree. They're $1.25 and Hallmark. I just can't with the expensive ones when they're only looked at once and discarded. Your GWs are much better than mine. I haven't found anything worth buying in over a year! Happy Birthday, Kayla! 💙

I'm one of those people who feels special when I get heart-shaped biscuit with my biscuits and gravy at Hardee's around Valentine's Day.

Thanks for sharing. Goodwill and Salvation Army and many have all increased and in some cases, too close to retail. But you can always find something to resell. Just a tip and you might already know this, to clean suede, use sandpaper, an old shoe repair guy taught me that years ago. Thank you for taking us all shopping with you!

Your prices at the GW are way cheaper than the ones here in Illinois outside St. Louis, Mo. I recently found 2 pair of FR Wranglers and a pair of Redhead flannel jeans all right next to each other at a GW. Plus it was 25% off red tag day and all 3 were red tags!

Picnic in the plant garden!

That picnic basket looks like my grandmother's knitting/crochet/sewing basket. Tall for long needles, etc. and a cpl skeins of yarn.

I bought a couple bags of cards at my local thrift store and they’ve come in clutch a few times lol. I used the thank you notes for eBay orders and have an assortment of other cards for many occasions 😊

Same here, love the bags of assorted cards. I also sell vintage US Stamps and they are great to send out small orders in. I have a very good selection of cards here for any occasion, ha!

The prices at our Goodwill are much higher than yours and I live in rural Wisconsin. I’m always envious of the prices you pay.

The Goodwills near us are almost 1-1.5 times higher than retail, but if we drive about 2-3 hours away, it’s much more reasonably priced. Our St Vincent de Paul is very high, too, but we almost always go in there, because my husband found a vintage, New in the wrapper, Bam Margera skateboard deck that even had his teenage picture on the wrapper-and it sold for $450 w/o counting shipping costs!! My husband’s face when he saw it was like that he’d struck eBay gold! I wish that I had a picture of his face, 😂, because I knew nothing about skateboarding, and first thought that it would not sell, because it had no wheels!! 😂I felt so dumb when it sold for so much, but my husband does the eBay-ing and I’m just a disabled housewife who provided care for my quadriplegic brother. I’m glad my husband didn’t listen to me and my arguments about the skateboard deck though! Thanks for the helpful advice and suggestions on new BOLO brands! We love your 2 channels very much! I used to buy and sell and repair audio equipment and used to find plenty at gw but they no longer sell any here because it all ends up on the internet.The stereo market has taken a dump in my area now so I no longer even pick that stuff up anymore unless it's just for me.One thing I see people buying to resell is designer jeans.A couple months ago I saw a woman spend $425.00 on a pile of jeans with fancy stich work on the butt @@kerrynihart6648

The topsy turvy dolls are, indeed, made by hand. Last season on The Amazing Race, assembling two very similar puppets was one of the tasks they had to do in India. Yours are nicer, but still made by hand. We have a very large Indian community in Houston, and I see those dolls in some of the stores and restaurants. ❤

My husband and I love watching your videos. We have been watching on our personal channels for a while now. This is our new KZread channel. Still learning (from awesome people like you two). By the way, I love your wife’s plant 🪴 shelf you made her.

It’s a lot cheaper than our area! Fernandina Bch, FL does have great thrift stores with Chicos and other name brands but you do pay more. Once in awhile you can get clothes for $4.

Im with the lady. Its frustrating. I wouldnt yell at anyone, but we all know goodwills are trying to outprice resellers, so much so that they could care less abt the poor who actually go there to save money. Its pure greed. Its disgusting.

6pm 2/20 I started watching you folks a short while ago. My sis and I love thrifting and sell in a booth in her home town. We live a long ways away from you! In California! But, you won’t believe this! My Sis-in-law lives in Murrels Inlet SC!! She lives on Castlerock Ct. I visited last November and my visit was/her was short. She used to live in Myrtle Beach and we visited there a few times years ago before her husband passed. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to them daily, thankyou! Lori

Dollar Tree Plus is almost everywhere now with $3-$5 items. It's the company's way of being able to branch out their Family Dollar (owned by DT) items into all their locations to maximize profits. There are some locations that have turned into split stores (DT with FD) like you see with Home Goods & TJMaxx/Marshall's.

I hope you get lots more for the dolls. They are worth $40 + each

My poor Goodwill is empty-shelf-ville. The employees tell me that the Goodwill online people come in and take all the good stuff. I can still find some deals nearly every time.

There is a greeting card shortage. You might have noticed empty shelves in the stores.

I never understand the arguing, whining and bad behaviour seen in US thrifting posts. Do people often behave that way? It's very rare in my country.

The goodwill stores around Dayton, OH have a lot of good prices on most things, shoes mostly 5.99, clothes around 4.90, but the problem with ours is very little selection and they have a person in the back looking up eBay prices. It’s ridiculous what they price something’s at ours.

With the tag sales you can always find something, but my Goodwill is just crammed full, very difficult to shop. There are some helpful videos on cleaning suede shoes here on YT, Trenton and Heath has one.

My local GoodWills offer a 25% discount coupon off one order in your birthday month. So far I still have mine. I may have spent $5 there this month total. They send anything good on line and all we get is the trash. And they charge $$$ for it.
