Damn man you should really check out frog leap studios. You'll love his covers, always 50x better than the original.

This is hands down their best cover. I thought this was their song u til I showed it to my wife and she informed me it was a Halsey song. It's the only cover of theirs I've heard that doesn't sound like it's a cover of a different genre. The rythym and lyrics are believable as an original rock song. They did a fantastic job.

This song describes my past in everyway. I was stuck in a toxic relationship for over a year before my ex ended up cheating on me and completely changed my life forever. I helped her through all her depression and drinking problems. Stuck with her through everything until I became nothing to her and she no longer needed me. But 3 years later to this day, I am 25 years old, happily married to a wonderful woman (not my ex lol), have my own apartment, and a great Job. I am truely blessed. I know I am young, but I learned alot in just that one relationship. It helped me to become stronger and break past my own anxiety and depression. I realize that life isn't always fair but it gets better. You just have to be strong and you will conquer every obstacle that you encounter. Sorry for rambling lol. Just feeling good today👍. Hope you can relate.

Almost forgot about this song and how amazing of a job FoF did covering it. It's the exact mood I was in when my ex literally took everything I gave her. Everything she wanted from me. I changed who I was, what I wore, how I talked. I stopped having fun with my long time friends all to make her happy because I thought the two of us were in love. I was even under the impression that I helped her get over her self conscious anxiety that was eating away at our relationship. But the more changes I made that she wanted, the more she pushed me away. And then one day she said she hated what I had become and I said F* IT! Never letting anyone do that to me again!

I've listened to 4 different versions of this song and this one right here just hits stronger.

That's one of the best covers I've heard of this song well done lads!

How does it feel sitting up there feeling so high but too far away to hold me. Of course this version is the best, but the lyrics, if you can relate, it's on point

Halsey covered the love aspect of this, and I feel like this covers every other. I imagine this music video having the first section as “a mother wanting the best for her son, and giving him all she’s got including money and then following him to find that he’s been purchasing drugs and deep in it, basically really playing with his life”, then the next version showing “someone taking in a new person at school or a job and helping them rise and then that person standing up with their new crowd when you come to sit with them”. Lastly, I imagine the last part as the inevitable part where we help someone sooooo much, like a partner that’s lost a parent, is lost in general, and then finding messages about you or those that show that they’ve been cheating. Amazing song and spin, next time you listen to it- I’d ask you to imagine it, because there’s more than 1 way we put people “up there”. 💔

I like that the rock covers of pop songs are always my "original" version. Then months later I hear the actual original and think, "meh"

Oh yeah I heard this song way before the original. I was singing it and my friend knew the words and I was like wtf so I had to look it up.

Although iv heard both versions of this song. Iv gotta say this is my first time listening to fame on fire. I sing along to both versions (this and the original). So thank you, and well done lads! 😊🔥
