Friends and family testing... so I would expect he asked her recommendation with her replying that her friends and family prefer the particular dish. The closed door opening (private gathering) could work... so what was popular that day. However, that is a popular based on what untested decisions. It would be like me going to a new restaurant and ordering lasagne. It's because I like it and will compare it to others... and not because I know this day old restaurant makes awesome lasagne. For all I know, their best dish could be the chicken salad. --- I guess it's just that in my opinion, 'popular dish' should be what people come back for, and what people tell friends about. So a restaurant that hasn't been open for even a month shouldn't be declaring a popular dish yet. --- But then, I'm hoping the author actually comes to this channel and reads comments and might learn to think things through a bit more. That way, they can write better stories and advance their career. I mean, it would make more sense to ask the server's recommendation. "I asked for her personal recommendation." And particularly when asking the owner/chef directly... this is asking them to show off what they think is their best dish.

Here is a menu, and we marked the most popular items' would tidy it all up well enough. As it stands, it sounds like they are not spinning off from any other store... just popping up out of no where. And then they are claiming to already have a popular dish, with no customer base to back it up. Imagine a new aircraft company cropped up claiming to have a more efficient engine that can allow planes to travel 30% faster than current models. However, it's the first time this aircraft has been in the air... not even for test flights... not even been ground tested. Just giving the old 'trust me, bro'. Are we to just presume they've done hundreds of test flights to make sure they are safe? Or just trust the company claims that their lead engineer was so smart they graduated Oxford at age 19?

Extra theory : nezu was demoted at the end of the story but he is likely kicked out of his house by his parents when they found out about his acts of selfishness and stupidity while he is working part time to repay debts and nezu will remain single for the rest of his life especially due to no women wanting to going out with him. Nezu did this to himself I think this is the more punishment he deserves rather than quitting. end of story

Spiteful people are in every job, it's just more physical ones you see less of them because they require team cohesion. Typically though that's more behavior of middle/upper-management. It IS a little overblown though. It's more passive-aggressive than over like this. Sato's Team leader would have separated Nezu from him long ago, if he was paying attention to group dynamics like a good TL.

Honestly Nezu should have been fired from the company and black listed from ever working in the restaurant industry as well as having to pay the fees. that kind of behavior is positively unexceptionable and needs appropriate actions taken, as that kind of reprehensible behavior is exactly what causes business to have problems and lose the trust of their clients. But then again we currently live in a society we’re acting like Nezu did will actually get you promoted 😉 so ……..

You'd be surprised. Last minute changes happen all the time in Corporate. Especially if it was done by e-mail, even then: It's still dependent on Nezu just not have been lying to Sato in the first place about being in charge, just to make him waste time & effort.

Im trying hard to understand how people who work in consulting for the operation of businesses would have people who are clearly in violation of so many things consulting as well but it is a story and if it was real life it sounds like that business wouldnt last long if a consultant was harassing even his own coworkers like he thinks he is something special. Though i wouls suggest that at end when he talks about eating her home cooked meals you still dont have the bar as the backdrop. makes me think it was worded wrong instead.

this is quite similar to something a friend of mine lived, but he was a consultant and it was one of his clients who pulled some crap on the owner of his own companies daughter, very similar to this.. the owner sent him to her eatery/bar combo because 3 of his daughters worked there, one owner the other 2 worked for her, he was asked to setup a party to celebrate the completion of a project then, like this.. the guy cancelled... heres the best part, his employer didnt fire him, instead they promoted him to a really remote location, and garnished his wages for the cost of the damage he did plus the cost of the 2nd booking for the party... dude only agreed because he didnt want deported back to the EU... he was on thin ice legally and one more strike would have sent him back. sad for him his now ex wife got fed up with his shit and ensured he got dinged hard for tax fraud/evasion.. she got the payout for reporting him... on top of more the half the stuff they owned, she turned him in then divorced him just in time to get that cleared before the govt stepped in... he did get to go back home.. after he did a decade behind bars and his home country agreed to take him back.. he cannot even visit the US or Canada at this point.. oh and buddy actually in effect ended up with 3 wives.. married one but the other 2 are so co-dependent with the wife and eachother that... it started as them sharing rent, then sharing the cost of buying a huge house that needed some work to.. just being one big f-ing family...i mean it works for them... and... i love their kids... little shit disturbing a-holes just like my friend group mostly were as kids... consumate smartasses... hell their version of spartan training was to be given shit for bad comebacks or not being able to come up with something.. but also being told how to respond to that shit.. they once got called into the school because the 7yo called out a guy giving a presentation to the school in an assimbly on being full of crap, even quoted the correct science.. she was brutal from the crap we were told she said and she still gets a huge grin when it comes up over a decade later LOL when the principle couldnt even be mad he was laughing so hard.. he disliked the fellow but the vp and assistant super loved the man... he never did another show in the district even after updating his show to match science that wasnt from the 50's... mostly because his ego wouldnt let him risk the same happening again.. i mean i cant really 100% blame him..heh..

Well, they sometimes picked fitting names for the antagonist. It fits Nezu. Dirty rat that he is. (Of course, should you redirect this statement to NezuKO from Kimetsu no Yaiba, it doesn't apply) At any rate, I foresee that eventually, the Tokimeki CEO proposes another drinking party, and Keiichi suggests Noa's izakaya since everyone missed the chance the first time. More people are invited, and since it goes viral and becomes more popular... Nezu wants in too. But he got denied by the CEO, simply by telling him that he has so much unfinished tasks, and if he cannot finish it, he is not allowed to come. Naturally he cannot fulfill his task. Everyone has so much fun in Noa's izakaya so they talk about it post-event, saying that it is so much better than the last outing (also, Keiichi and Noa announcing their engagement). It riles Nezu up so much that in an outburst, he submits his resignation, because his pride is hurt so much. Since he's not contributing much and only managed to finish the cancellation fee just barely, resignation accepted. Then he realizes that he just denied himself a source of steady income, and he's having a hard time getting a new job. I'll leave the rest of the 'thinking horrible fate on him' thing to you guys.

For Corporate terms: Privately owned usually means small business or independent business (all business in the private sector are privately owned. So this includes everything from a Farmer's farm all the way up Elon Musk's Starlink or Jeff Bezo's amazon.) Privately owned can overlap with partnerships/sponsor (IE: Other company's business your company is in legal contract with. Think Catering services to the Hilton hotels). Public venues are of course open to everyone (or in areas publicly owned, such as Parks or say Company sponsored family-friendly outdoor concert)

I find if one is kind and generous to others awesome things happen and certain business will go out of their way and give you a free item like a pizzeria I went order something but didn't have the money I apologized to them they said hang on and later came back with don't worry we got your back and got a free slice and a soda now they didn't have to do that but because I was kind and courteous to them this was they way the payed me back
