Had the HR Steel Series and ended up returning. The domed mineral crystal glass just couldn’t take day to day use and scratches abound. Would you be able to test the durability of the new sapphire crystal glass? I still use Withings BPM and like the understated look of the watch and would like a 1-2 solution.

Hey Jens I like the part where you were talking about how most smart watches are overrated with there sleep tracking. But how the Scan Watch can Warn Potentails issues while sleeping really shows how unique this watch is. Im really excited for the full review of this watch, can't wait 🤗 🙌

I think it’s a good option for anyone who is concerned about it BUT we couldn’t fully test yet - I am always wary until then!

Yes it works out of the box - the sleep apnea function isn’t fully functioning though we are awaiting that update

About to unbox my Scanwatch right now...

It is a great thought that sleep tracking is overrated it made me me realize you're right you can't fix something when you didn't know what is causing it to be broken. It is a great feature adding sleap apnea detection. If my memory serves me right sleep apnea is when a person sleeping is having difficulty or interrupted breathing causing someone to snore. Health is wealth indeed 😉

How correctly it detects heart rate and sleeping?

I actually think if ur gonna go smartwatch u gotta go full - not a fan of this type of smartwatch tbh but love how you try and cover a wide range of products

Wow it is amazing what is possible in such a small watch. Let's see what Apple has in store for series 6 this year. Rumours say it will come with an oxygen sensor. Nice video, as always. If in doubt watch this video, the future of KZread.

that sapphire crystal looks crazy reflective, why all these companies keep using crystal without ar coating ? it’s not that much cheaper.

Great product, great review but I think I'm going to wait for another few years until smartwatches reach their "peak" form because for now they seem to all lack in certain areas unfortunately

As always - great content - well presented. While a lovely looking watch - I think I will stick with a more 'functions' styled watch (something that I can get notifications - calls- emails - etc.). Which means its either an apple watch , samsung galaxy or who know - a new WearOS type watch. (which I just heard that there will be an update to the WearOS from Google later this year - supposed to be faster. thanks again for the review!

But yeah i'm not use yet Coros watch 🤔that make me curious. Because only pro runner or athlete just use a Coros watch dude. Also coros has selling officially product at malaysia. Meh, I'm not a pro runner! But i see in coros community them say... Coros watch can expand one month or more from single charge. Lol not only me think what wtf that has🤷🏻‍♀️.

Pretty and functional. I'm curious about how they implemented the sleep apnea feature. Will the watch vibrate to wake you up or some other system? And is there a feature alarming authorities if data shows medical emergencies? Great video, this is a topic of great interest so you're doing an excellent job here. Congratulations on 15k!!!! 💜🎊

I'd rather have blood pressure feature than ecg. O2 saturation is good feature but for a healthy individual it's not something you would use often unless you're a COPD patient.

I have never heard of this watch!

Very nice looking fitness and health watch. Not a complete smartwatch it seems, but it's very good. Recognition of sleep apnea is a good addition as after a night out of fahitas with 5 pints of Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier, I may be suffering from that tonight! 😂🍺🍺🍺🍺

Absolutely, so far it really depends on the the respiratory scan settings. I have it on always on and this eats into battery life significantly.

@@ALLSTARSPACE I have been reading a few posts on the withings reddit page. I t seems users don't really get the 30day life advertised. It would be great to know how fast the respiratory scan kills the battery and how long it lasts without that enabled. Thanks for the reply! Great first quick look at the watch. Would it be also possible to compare exercises and heart rate with a fitbit or other smartwatches?

I saw the proper scientific tests on this and I was so disappointed at how inaccurate it is, I really wanted one. Also no second hand is stupid. So many jobs require a watch with a second hand why isn’t it a widget on the screen

Totally agree, love my GW, but at this point I am not sure if there will be any updates coming that are useful.

CAUTION! Scanwatch does not work properly for me and many users. Forum is full of upset users. Withings Support doesn't answer. Don’t buy this watch!!

Do not buy, no back up from Withings.
