This will get lost in a sea of comments, but... My mom used to be the caretaker of this small, old castle that you see in the video (Schloss Marquardt, Germany). I used to play soccer with my dog in the big banquet hall and play all around and inside the castle. This video holds a close place to my heart. Truly beautiful "memories" for me, personally. I was 10 when this was filmed and not much later I became a huge Within Temptation fan and am still to this day. I deeply regret not asking for an autograph when they were right there, filming in our little castle haha

Incredible story. I mean.... it's amazing! Not just the fact that Within Temptation was there, that the song is freaking fantastic, but the memories, YOUR memories steal the show. All the best from an argentinean is Minnesota.

Listened to this on repeat as a love sick teenager and have come back 15 years later . Now I know the true meaning of this song as an adult.

Reminds me of someone I like dearly. Been having breaks from her 💔 really but she knows I love her very much but I wish she would not put her self down as I like her for who she is because she's amazing.

This will get buried; but, I really appreciate this song (and band!) right now as a longtime fan since 2005. I can say that WT's music really united friends and me across international borders over the years. One of my friends passed away suddenly in September; but we loved listening to Within Temptation's music and sharing new songs with each other. I just wanted to say thanks to the band for that. Thanks for the good memories. Much respect from a Canadian fan. 🇨🇦

How I had forgotten about this band I have no idea!

Unlike most other videos shot by different artists in abandoned mansions, this one is the only one with a true meaning - where the setting fits with the lyrics & theme of the song. Really the best work from WT!

This is beyond words so beautiful. I’m a big Floor fan and didn’t discover Nightwish until 2019 but listening to this and looking at the video I can imagine the nostalgia for the Nightwish fans of old and longing for those days. Yes I agree Tarja was a fantastic performer and a phenomenal voice. Yet groups and people evolve into what they are now. Thankfully their legacy is still around to be listened to through their old albums. Now I listened to this I think I understand the Tarja diehard fans a little better.
