    As a North Indian I had zero knowledge of Nagas & their Freedom movement, only after dating a boy from the Naga community did I get to know of the struggle for Naga Independence. I have so much respect for the people who have laid down their lives for the cause.As an Indian I apologize for the crimes committed by the Indian army against the innocent civilians, women & children especially. I can only convey my best wishes & heaetful greetings to your cause in hope that you will be free one day.

Just for ur knowledge that during first'World war 4,000( four thousand) Naga warrior's went to France (France War) in support of British during British rule in India,Sadly,only thousands could able to survive France war n came back to India. Many many sacrifices stories of Naga warrior's are in the history of India Independence but we are still Ignored n Sadly there's less Recognition about our Brave Naga warrior's who fought n sacrifices their precious Life's for the Freedom of our country India.If u wish,than Go through n hv some knowledge about our Naga history from 1st to 2nd world war. Nagalim is not india we will never remain india, india is just like Turks from the 17th century they will say the balkans and Albanian to remain inside the ottoman Empire but mass genocide the people of Greece, Albania and Balkan people India is just like turks 2million Nagas died under india rule and still say us to remain India. Nagalim will gain independence I lost 7 of my family members from 1951-1990 who didn't even joined the separatist group?.

  • @dawnyraikhan3043
    @dawnyraikhan3043Ай бұрын

    Nagas are not a separatists - they were an independent nation (people) untill British colonized them. But only 1/4 of Nagalim was colonized by the British. They also declared to the world as an Independent nation on 14 August, 1947 one day before India's independence. But sadly, India was much mightier (they inherited all the British arms and weapons) and invaded Nagalim in 1951. Even Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru accepted that Nagas are not Indian and their territory does not belong to India. But India is surrounded by enemies - west, north and northeast by Pakistan and China. India knew very well (her geographical disadvantages) that if Nagalim remain as free nation and be used as base against India than it will be most fatal for India (Nehru came out with this idea) and insisted that Nagalim must be (by any means) made part of India. Gandhi opposed to him (his idea of forcefully making Nagas to be part of India) and gave a statement “Nagas have every right to be independent" I will not allowed Nehru to shoot at Nagas, if he insist I will ask them (Indian troops) to shoot me first before a single Naga is shot.

Whenever she and her friends spotted Indian Army vehicles passing by, they would quickly flee into the jungle out of fear of potential assault, rape and abduction, possibly to be detained in a concentration camp. As this was a common thing that was practice by the Indian Army to infesticate faer to the citizens. God bless my Nation. Kuknalim

And on the other side many of Us wants to be Indian Citizens, I don't know for What?? But the reality history saw how Indian Army tortured Nagas, rape our sisters & mothers in their military camp and so, burnt our granaries, farm ,field, houses beheaded our brothers & fathers, etc etc.... Watching and learning all this disturbing & humiliating history of Our Nagas by the Indian under the Leadership of J.Nehru. My grandparents would told me stories of how they escaped death from the Indian Army by moving continuously from one point to another in the forest... Grandma gave birth to baby in the forest while transporting goods since they had to shift to another secure place. The place they left was burned down the night after they left. People suddenly showing up to their hideout bleeding. Sometimes without an arm or without a leg. Those still living in the village were forced to say "Jai Hind" and punishment followed if resisted. Were sent to their field with nothing but a seal on their wrist which they had to show it on returning back to village but they often got into trouble because the seal got wiped on since they were working. In the field they'd go hungry so they would boil yam in small containers .... cannot write down eberything here.

    First try electing good leader in your state and start demanding for better education, health care, employment, seriously only 1 medical college in whole arunachal. It is the 2nd least educated state in india only state more illiterate than your state is bihar, isn't that something you should be more concerned about than Nagaland

    @@jommzom9715 ok i got you ..but i will still say that i support naga for their demands forever...🤣🤣🤣 My state being less developed has no connection with the pain and rights of the nagas ..i have the full right to support their genuine cause..my state unfortunately being less developed doesn't take away my right to support the nagas for their genuine right to have their own nation as they were never a part of india and they didn't want to be a part of india but was forcefully annexed with the help of Indian military force.. What a selfish mentality you have..and your rationality is too low..you have compared the mere development in my state with the Martyrs of the naga community..have some morality and rationality..your mentality is under the gutter..pick it up.. Now again you can use words of vague and irrelevant criticism to divert my concern for the nagas..

What do we expect from a coward bloodline race who were inslave by Mughals and Britishers they took revenge on harmless civilians harsh but truth. But We are now Christian's we believe in Forgiveness and our OG freedom fighters all are gone now there are only money fighters who loot extortion own people and living lavish lifestyle.

    Was india even a thing tbh No Mainland Indian Empire ever conquered South india anf NE and only British came and unified the subcontinent. Tbh it's better this way since I don't think Nagaland would be as good as it is today (atleast better then my state, Arunachal) if it was an independent warring state made of different tribal militias. (Myanmar example).

    @@Roachh2877hahaha no it won't there will be a unification like the Chinese, korean and Japanese when the Joseon Or Goryeo conquered all korean inhabited areas the koreans were divided in languages, dialects and villages but the kingdom goryeo or joseon United the koreans under one language and Dialect same for the Japanese who were United under Tokugawa, and the Han Chinese under the Han or Ming dynasty The burmese aren't much connected the eastern part of Myanmar is dominated by the Shan or Karenic who share a lot of similarities with Thai people, in the North are ethnic han Chinese who speaks Mandarin Chinese and the central and South is Burmese the burmese will not be United as because of a lot differences between the Karenic, Burmese and Ethnic Han Chinese The nagas can however unite and under one language and dialect throwing away the tribal division like the examples I gave Again one example is the finnish tribes who were United under the Russian empire due to industrialization and further United during the finnish struggle for independence.

    Hi, when our people are so corrupt while each and every one of us eat the money from the Indian Government, like you who typed this comment bought with rupees and from an Indian supply chain shop. Please have some shame as he is someone who is trying to move on and not live in the past but trying to help get more things done for our state. Now tell me how things will turn out if we became an independent country overnight. Rio will become a dictator, same situation will start as currently in Manipur. You want your mother, sister or cousin sisters raped by underground forces? No right? Keep quiet kid, you don't know the situation on the ground at the moment but useless blind flight on some useless pride

    We Nagas owe big time to the British for their farsightedness. They protected our land from influx of outsiders and enact laws in this regard. The most notable one being the ILP which stands till today. If not for the policies implemented by the British we wouldn't be what we are today. I'm a Naga in Manipur(Senapati district). Our elders used to tell us about the horror they endured during the 50s, 60s and 70s at the hands of Indian security force. The whole village young and old, men and women would be grouped at the village ground. Then the army would force the crowd to move out and as they move out along the narrow village road the soldiers would mercilessly thrash the ones at the back. It is said that those who are in the middle would not touch the ground as the ones from the back would push them so hard. The horror was so great that even a footprint of hunter boot worn by either soldiers or Naga UGs would sent shiver down their spines.

    Yes, Nagas were an independent entity but was forcibly annexed by India. Our fight for independence was real with true love for our land and our forbearers were true patriots. But now, our fight for freedom and sovereignty has been hijacked by all the various factions for their selfish motives and gains that it has rather become an extortion racket. This is what the common people see feel and see in the so called freedom fighters. However unpalatable it may be, it's the hard truth. The very notion of Naga sovereignty and independence has rather become an impediment to the growth and prosperity of the Nagas.,... Naga freedom fighters has become a scourge to the free and freedom and progress and prosperity loving Naga citizenry...

    Language,religion play a very vital role in this development of freedom movement if looked in north east India maximum tribal community eg Naga, Mizo etc they are Christian English speaking fighting for independence but if we see tani(sino tibetean group of tribe) in Arunachal Pradesh are not fighting at all because they speak Hindi & religiously the population of this community is major is Christian but still a large number of indigenous, Hindu & Buddhist no militants group or any separate identity. The militants movement in north east lead to drug abuse.
