This song just REFUSES to get old! I'm not a crybaby but I can't listen to this song (or really any Thomas Whitfield composition) without getting watery-eyed. LOL. The 1980s was my introduction to gospel and I really miss that era of music.

A really nice album with the maestro Thomas Whitfield. Thomas Whitfield and Benny Cummings were ahead of their time. So much was captured on this masterpiece. I won't to honor thee with my whole heart is a worshipping mindset, creating an atmosphere of praise and worship.

Back in the early 80's is my fav era for gospel. Vanessa Bell Armstrong, The Clark Sisters, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark ( and what ever choir she directed). Thanks

My kind of gospel music. I was in my teens and was just learning what it means to walk with the Lord when this was playing on the radio. This along with "Perfect Peace" were my favorites from Keith Pringle. Except for a few exceptions I just can't spiritually connect with most of what is called gospel today.

This along with "Dear Jesus" was praise and worship along with Brenda Moores' "Oh Lord How Excellent" and countless Richard Smallwood and singers music. We've always had it but the genre was coined at the time. This was the best of the best. 80's music my favorite.
