My maternal grandmother passed away on April 20 1998 and this song was playing after I found out that she had passed away. This song makes me cry almost everyone I hear it..Praise God Mama as we called her had given her life to Jesus in 1997. Thank you Jesus❤☝🙏⛪📖

Reading online this morning about Michael Brooks' homegoing brought me here 7.26.2024. I remember his production, musical arrangements and performance on this song; I think he wrote it, too (yep--just saw it in the comments)! It's probably one of my favorite cuts on this project--love the intro! God bless and honor his memory until we see him in the air when Jesus Christ comes!
