You need to watch him sing Bring Me To Life. His growls are beyond belief. Gethsemane is like watching a theatrical play. His talent is unbelievable.

I don't know how many times I watched this cover, but it still gets me every time. It's absolutely freaking fantastic. As you say, Dan's facial expressions are so good, no matter what genre he does, it's always on point and makes you feel all the emotions. Oh and he also did "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher" (has 27M views), "Song Of The White Wolf" and "Priscilla's Song" (two versions).

Loved your reaction! You are so right - Dan Vasc doesn’t just sing a song, he embodies it. I had to look for the original of this song and wow, does Dan’s version blow it out of the water. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole and love everything from him I hear, but this one just might be my favorite. His cover of Bohemian Rhapsody is fun, and his cover of Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life will blow you away for its astounding range.

His Toss A Coin cover is phenomenal, highly encourage you to check that out too!

Dan is so expressive in his vocals as well as his facial expressions and gestures. Dan is also a big Witcher 3 game fan. He loved the series for season 1 and 2 - don't think he is going to watch 3 because of the changes.

Dan Vasc doesn't disappoint. And yes, give Witcher another chance. And I'm going to read the books. 🙂

@@nickforell1 I'm not into gaming. I think I was wrong about the series. I'm in Season 3, episode 6 and it seems like it is not keeping my interest as much. I am very interested in reading the books though.

Watch when you play other songs from him. He grabs the mic with the “Vasc grip” and you know he is about to let loose. Vasc fans love his work, literally from composing to mastering and everything in between and outside the norm. We all respect and love the man and hope he has the life he is striving for.

I had not seen or heard before this sound. I have not been exposed to heavy metal before. But Dan does everything so perfect. I agree with you. He is s thespian at ywRt, which adds more to his music. It hecomes a performance instead of just a song. well, but I admire his singing abilities. He is in a band called "Fearless," but I have not heard them. Thank you for playing his songs.

Dan truly is fantastic. Anything he sings gives me goosebumps. You might like to listen to Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, American Trilogy that he dedicated to his father just a few days after he passed away due to cancer, Star Spangled Banner, Sound of Silence is amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

Great reaction. As always Dan delivered a fantastic performance with phenomenal vocals. I agree with you 100% regarding the facial expressions and passion he puts into every song. I never watched the Witcher series. If it helps you make your decision, I believe I heard Dan say in an interview somewhere that he stopped watching after season 2 - that season 1 was "ok" and season 2 "not so much." I'd love to see your reaction to his cover of "Dawn Over a New World" (A DragonForce cover) and also "Dawn of Victory" - a Rhapsody of Fire cover he did with one of his idols/inspirations: Fabio Lione. Fabio was on tour in Brazil and went to Dan's home to record this duet version of the song in Dan's garage studio. In it, you can see how stoked Dan was to be singing with Fabio. In it, you also get to see and hear Dan's band Fearless.

I've never watched the Witcher , probably never will. But, so much fun to watch Mr. Dan perform with his other worldy voice. His opera song, Nessum Dorma is another amazing facet of Dan. Of course, Amazing Grace is in the top favorites, but all his work is amazing.

"Song of The White Wolf" Dan Vasc style is incredible! To quote someone else, " his voice floats like a ribbon into the sky" , then it gets metal, then floats to the sky again. I love the way he does that!

At the end of this song, which I look at and hear almost every 2 days, I keep holding my breath and hanging on Dan Vasc's lips.... Phew 😂🤟❤️

Loved the reaction. I have watched this one many times and it does not get boring. Dan is amazing. Dan also does Song of the White Wolf and Priscilla's song from the game ....two versions, one traditional and one metal, both great. (I have not watched The Witcher but from what I've read, Season 1 is the best, Season 2 not so much, and Henry quit his Geralt role as he was not happy with the storyline and is not even in #3.) I’m not trained in singing... but Dan’s voice is amazing. His strong body language during singing is also captivating, as is the tiger-like power of his voice. I do worry he’s pushing to hard: damaging his vocal cords. I saw John Barrowman on QI. He was asked to sing a very high note suddenly on the show by Steven Fry, the host. John was performing a show in London in the evenings at the time. He expressed concern he would damage his voice...so I thought he would decline.... and then he did it. He sang the word Shuttlecock extremely loudly, and with a high, perfect pitch. That pushing of the voice is what I perceive in Dan. He seems to be just over the edge into damaging the voice at points in his singing. John had been worried he’d damage his voice and ruin his shows...I don’t know if Dan also needs to gig to get by... or if I’m overreacting. Re The Witcher. I have heard fans gush over the show. Part of that was reaction to HC as the lead. I’ve seen some episodes and enjoyed it. It’s weird to know he’s a fan of the books and the games, and leapt at the chance to be the Witcher. He’s left the show. I think it was due to divergence from the books. Books and video are vastly different media. In books you tell to show. In media you show to tell. What is needed for one is tiresome for the other.... For instance, the divergence of The Hobbit movies, where they added a female lead, I welcome. Despite it being made out of thin air. She’s an elf. She falls for a dwarf of all things. But I ached for her. Purists were up in arms. But not me. I’m a big fan. I’ve read LotR about 6 times. And excelled at the trivia board games based on it. (Though my roommate got even the obscure questions... all of them! His Achilles heel was the map questions. He’s blind, so fails at all of them.)
