Every time Dan grabs the mic in the Vasc grip you know he is going for the Vasc scream

Enjoyed listening to your commentary for the first time. What I have learned in the 5 months since I first heard of Dan Vasc; I have discovered that no matter what country you are from, no matter what your age, and no matter what your usual musical preferences are, once you are bitten by the Dan Bug, you enter a whole new realm of music appreciation. One thing that can never be ignored is excellence in any art form. Dan's unlimited skills that he has dedicated himself to perfect, and his creativity in production and performance command respect by any one who is lucky enough to come across one of his videos. It is a joyful journey to follow him and he has obviously connected with so many people. I look forward to seeing your future reactions to his special selections.

The lute is an older instrument that was used - same shape as a mandolin

I think the instrument is a lute. He said he tried the contacts to try for the Witcher look but his eyes are too dark and turned them this maroon color. lol The range he has developed and his vocal toolbox are incredible. The simplistic style of the videos highlight his incredible delivery. He inhabits every song and takes the listener/viewer on a journey.

Check out Dan Vasc Gathsemane. Even if not for your show. It is from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar By Andrew Lloyd Webber. Movie version was released in 1973 to date how old this thing is. I am not religious. I do however love Webber's music most of the time. That is not to say the musical is not religiously based. It is loosely based on the last days of Christ leading up to and including his arrest. In that I would not advise it for children. The musical has some of the best songs I know but also some horrible 60-70's style crap filler between songs. Dan Vasc 's performance of Gathsemane is breathtaking in his range and skill. it is the only performance that equals the 1973 version in quality of sound. That is not something I thought I would ever say.

Karla Bessa spliced together Dan & Jaskier into an amazing trip down emotional lane. Jaskier fades off into his favorite memeories and has a touch of angers remorse, while Dan grabs that betrayed emotion with fire and brimstone, refusing to look back. Amazing how both renditions work so well. I think most of us can relate to both. ❤

I listen to one of his Q and A’s from five years ago and he said the low baritone notes are hard for him unless he records them first thing in the morning.

I cant say as to the the color contacts. In Q&A vids he has explained his eyes are more tricolored. Brown, green and then hazel. So it really depends on the lighting, what he is wearing and if he is like my green eyed son and my blue eyed son, it can change depending on emotions. My green eyed one is 36 and and even his wife of 15 years agrees when his emotions get high the can go from deep dark green to almost emerald. My blue eyed 19 year olds go from almost black navy to almost crystal blue when his emotions start to get the better of him... well vise versa. They are normally the ice blue but when that switch is about to flip they go very dark. It doesn't happen often. Ive only seen it twice since he became a teenager...but when they turn its dramatic. Anyway as usual a great reaction dear!
