March 1 is an infamous day in US History; March 1, 1692 is the day the Salem Witch Trials began in Salem Massachusetts, which resulted in the deaths of 25 innocent people and the torture and imprisonment of many more. So, it’s a bit of a somber day when we think about the suffering they endured.

I do think of all the women who were treated so awfully just because they were different. When I was in Salem in 2022 (for Samhain), it was very powerful to walk through the memorial of those 25. It was as if you were in another world‼️. I pray for the women who have died, been tortured, shunned or murdered when all they wanted to do is what we do today💔💔🖤🖤

Interesting. In BC Canada we say white rabbit when we are camping and the smoke from the campfire starts drifting your way. You usually say it three times or just keep say it over and over until the smoke drifts the other way again. Gaining sarcastic thanks from the person who the smoke starts drifting toward, and then they say white rabbit.

I've never heard of the white rabbit or hair phrase for March. That's such a cool little tidbit. I do have to say though, I don't like the almanacs views on the zodiac. Lately I've been wondering where my negative views about certain associations were rooted, and now I understand. The almanac pretty much only focuses on the negative aspects of any sign. 😂
