The quartz crystal inside of a watch has been cut into a sort of wee itty-bitty tuning fork. It is then electrified so that it vibrates. Because quartz is similar to sand, it can vibrate regularly and indefinitely without being affected by any heat generated. Quartz vibrations can be used to move a watch second hand once each second. (The minute and hour hands subsequently work by gear principles.) Which will come in handy when digital/satellite infrastructure goes blooey. 😎 I enjoy a nice veiny red Jasper...when I root around for some cash, it falls into my hand so I can take a pause and decide if I really want *that*. At least my money is well-protected! 😅

12:34 (aww 1234 too 🥰) That’s so funny. I grew up in an EXTREMELY violent, drug & {all types of} abuse filled household💔 One of the wild weekend outings they would often drag me to was to a local flea market. My favorite shop (since I was 6) was the “metaphysical shop” 😌 The incense, the feathers, the crystals… It was like a refuge. I remember being insanely drawn to Rose Quartz during my childhood- looking forward to that highlight of picking new crystals was the _only_ thing I had to look forward to during such an evil mess (wasn’t even allowed toys) I held onto those stones tight.. I even remember the shop lady letting me pick some for free (she could tell how horrible the adults were and how little & kind I was lol) I often think of that sweet lady 🥰 I think I owe a great deal to her 💕 I also often think about Rose Quartz and how that’s basically the first stone of my life that I really worked with. My heart was SO broken as a child… Haha and again, there’s that intuitional magick! 😌 (I needed “emotional stability” more than anything at that time) Edit: ya know what… I think that’s why I don’t particularly pick rose Quartz when it comes to any type of romantic love working… (it doesn’t vibe right for me) Probably cause that’s the stone that healed me of sexual assault starting at age 5 - and it’s tied to that type work for me (I guess) I’ve just never been able to “have to by my bedside to attract love”… 😵‍💫

It’s true! Rose Quartz has really helped me sleep. I have insomnia and one day I had the thought to put Rose Quartz next to my bed. I slept so well that I kept it there for a long time. My favorite crystal that has always called to me is Black Tourmaline. I use it as part of my protection ritual before bed most nights. It’s amazing. However, it’s so strong that I can’t keep it next to my bed and have to keep it across my room.

Your daughter is immensely artistic. Ginny, not a witch here. However I do work with crystals. In regards to the carnelian or actually any crystal do you cleanse them first before use? I've just always used water, salt, and then put them in the sun. New sub, BTW, and enjoy your sense of humor along with your knowledge. 🕉 ☮

5:35 - Absolutely beautiful! Do you think it’s straight from nature? Although it’s tumbled & shiny, not in ‘raw’ form? Or do you think someone along the way lost it, and it was later gifted to you via the Universe? I ask because I’ve found less than a handful of crystals like that in my backyard (of 23 years). No one else goes back there but me, and these _are not_ my crystals (“that I somehow dropped and forgot about”) It was just such an odd (albeit cool) experience! 😅 They were so shiny & nearly perfect, it was hard for me to believe Mother Earth just happen to push it out of the ground, right there lol It’s usually Angel Quartz But ya know what they say… “Crystals will come and go as needed. You’ll lose them when they no longer serve you. And -you’ll find them- they’ll find you, exactly when they’re needed” 😊

I use five rough clear quartz points to invoke circles sometimes! I like it to keep the energy flowing and amplify what I already want to happen. Amethyst for me is super good w connecting w the Divine and divination. Selenite I really like for cleansing and also connection to the Divine and Universe! It feels like a crystal of the moon and of white light energy

Your daughter is very talented I love her artwork. Thank you for this video very interesting especially the carnelian information, the piece you showed was very beautiful. I was trying to think of the three crystals I would choose and clear quartz is definitely one of them for the reasons you stated, the second is tourmaline I use that for protection but somehow I am always losing a piece not quite sure what that means, maybe someone else’s need is greater than mine 😂 I could not think of the third easily but it would be between labradorite and amethyst 😌

Goodness, I couldn't possibly choose, especially since I know so little of these things. But now that you've made me actually think (!) I will say that I have an affection for a large rock of rose quartz that I found when I was a child and have taken with me every time we moved. I have a kyanite pendant that I feel protects me, and green garnet that helps me breath better. And the pendulum I am always drawn to is a gorgeous carnelian. But I hate to leave out citrine, and I have been drawn to lapis recently. . . ok, I am basically like a woodland creature with shiny objects. Perhaps as I work with them more I will discover what works for me. And by the way, loved your daughter's artwork!

Love Carnelian🤎 Clear Quarts 👌🏼🤍 have it as the top stone on my Wand with other chakra stones going down & then thick twisted Copper Wired around it. I made it myself. Was my very 1st Witchery crafting. Came from blossom tree in my garden, I have a ward in that 🌳 that matches with the 1 on my front door. It has a clearing around the bottom the 🌳 I'm sure, well....I know! 😅 That we have Fae. I sense its either Brownies or Gnomes. Definitely other tricky things out in the garden. I have fire 🔥 rituals there & last was newyears one, something ran at me when I was leaving. Stomping behind my back... even my husband could hear them. Trying to appease them...going to make the garden nice this year.... dying go know what's out there 😂 Fabulous 👌🏼

Mrs Ginny, that’s so bizarre. Your resin sponsor… I _literally_ just dropped a couple thousand dollars *this week* in molds & supplies for a BIG BUSINESS 🤩 (I’m scared shitless, but genuinely believe I can make this work, AND give back good into the community!) My idea is to incorporate magickal ingredients 😉 I don’t wanna say much more & give all my big ideas away 😂 But the coincidences? I think not! Haha I hear you Universe.. Interesting though, I’ll have to check Resin Crete out. Being chronically ill and disabled, it’s REALLY important my supplies are NONTOXIC for me, the future owner, _and_ the environment… I’ve never heard of ‘powdered resin’ so I’ll definitely have to check more into that. But as someone who just spent a bunch of money buying every single one of those things in the “kit” individually- lol just get the kit (to start you off at least) Side note: the final finish on the piece looked very matte, almost like a ‘chalk paint’ finish? - I’m wondering if that’s common with this powder? Or if it was something else that can effect the finish, like the mold itself..

Ginny, I need some advice please. Like you, I'm a generational traditional witch. Only one left so no-one to ask for advice. The question is to do with curses. I easily do a "return to sender" spell. But, what if the curse is generational & the caster is dead? I've been asked to help. I don't charge. Really want to help this family. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Blessings!

Generational curses are enacted by entities working for the person who cast the spell. So you have to destroy the entity to destroy the curse. What curse is it?

Just this morning, as I was rushing out the door, I grabbed my work blazer, upside down and heard a crash. It was my moon shaped rose quartz that fell on my kitchen floor and broke. When I picked I noticed how sharp it was on one whole side. My first thought was to sweep it up and get rid of it before my cat stepped on any of the shards. What do you do with a broken crystal?

  • @GinnyMetheral

Broken crystals are because the energy needs to get released generally. Feel the pieces in your hands and you will 'know' whether you can use them again.
