what if the girl was actually not even a witch? what if she was actually an angel, sent from god to help humans in need and bring joy to them. however the nun was too blind from the jealousy that grew within her. so when death was coming for the angel, she screamed for help from her god and flew to the heavens. however this is just a theory. :)

Then again is she actually a witch? She grew wings as she was about to be burned alive (question, why would a witch grow wings, why not transform into a flying animal to escape or use magic to disappear instead?), and the nun was so obsessed with the guy she went with whatever idea she had to get rid of that women so she could have the man who didn't love her. Which, the idea was to make everyone believe she was a witch

I remember reading a comment actually about a theory the guy had about the song, that the song isn't actually calling the "witch" a witch, but it was actually calling the nun a witch (maybe even both of them, the first part talking about the actual "witch" and the second part talking about the nun) Metaphorically, especially at the "who came to trick a young prince, so the story goes", she tricked and made the Prince believed she was a witch. Though again, there is no true explanation to these songs, we can only guess the story through the lyrics and we draw the story from those. Its also a form of art after all, and everyone's eye always picks an element from that art to believe what it is about. Usually there's a popular meaning of the art that most believe, and the unpopular one who want to think more outside the box and take it more on alternative meaning of what the song is actually saying.

Adrien's ancestor is the prince. Chloé's ancestor is the nun. Alya's ancestor is the girl narrator. Nino's ancestor is the boy narrator. The supposed "witch" is one of the previous Miraculous Ladybug holders: Jeanne D'Arc. ((Honestly, I'm not even that sure if Nino and Alya's are correct since I can't really tell the difference between the color of the eyes of the two narrators. I just went with the beauty mark.)

Please, just read the description if you still wonder who is who ;w; (blonde girl : ladybug's ancestor, brunette girl would be chloe's ancestor, prince would be Adrien. Then Nino and Alya.)

I read the description and I think I understand what's happening and who is who. So the black haired man in the blue coat is obviously the prince (Adrien), the blond in the ladybug dress and on the stake is the witch (Marinette/Ladybug), and the woman [is she a woman?] in the blue robes and also has black hair is the priest (Chloe). Is this right?

My take on this is that the Chat Noir of her time rescued her, using his agility and speed to escape with her, his dark suit mistaken for wings as they fled with their lives.

The people who were singing are the ancestors of Alya and Nino (pretty obvious), but I'm not sure who the nun and the prince is suppose to be the ancestor of even after reading the description. On one hand, you could think of it in the easy way; that the prince is Adrien's ancestor and the nun is Cholee's ancestor. But I like to think of karma and well tragedy in tales and legends, and it could be that the nun is Adrien's ancestor and the prince is Chole's ancestor. That is why in the "current lifetime," the lineage of the prince who couldn't believe in the person he loved, is denied the chance to reconcile, while the lineage of the nun who hated the Miraculous holder is put in a situation where they can like each other.

I don't believe she was witch. I believe she was an angel. He mentions her as a witch as to challenge calling her a witch.

I used to hate the prince but now I realize even if the prince did not want to kill her, in the past, the church has higher authority than the king/royalty. So even if he didn't really believe the priestess, he had no choice but to "trust" her judgment in the public display of execution.

Romeo and Cinderella would be interesting

Plot twist: Adrien's ancestor was the ladybug and the witch was actually lesbian but in a fit of confusion and unknown jealousy she grew to hate the ladybug she had actually loved and refused to accept that she was in love with a women since it was against her religion.

(from wikia)" There's nothing about who's ancestors is whose. She says they are the ancestors of Adrien, Chloe, etc. She didn't say if the witch was Adrien or Marinette's ancestor or not.

This channel is absolutely brilliant. Turning Miraculous into Vocaloid music videos (especially the heartbreaking ones) is an awesome idea that will be the death of me.

Para los que no entiendan, el príncipe es una ancestro de Adrian, la "bruja" de Marinette, la monja de Chloé. Y trata sobre una joven que se enamoró de un príncipe, pero la monja, quien por cierto estaba enamorada del príncipe en secreto, creyó que lo había hechizado así que mintió al príncipe y este con el dolor de su alma, obedece puesto que es un príncipe devoto y mada a quemar a la "bruja". Pd yo creo que era un ángel :v

Ya entendí la historia Se encuentra ambientada en la época medieval. Un par de niños ( podrían ser Nino y Alya) cuenta la historia de una mujer ( una ladybug de esa época), ella es un ángel que vino a la tierra, la cual se enamoran de un príncipe (no estoy segura si es el antepasado de Adrián). Una monja (que es el antepasado de Cloe), que celosa por su amor, la acusa de brujería con el principe. El a regañadientes le corta el cabello y la amarra en la cruz para que sea quemada (ya que en esa época esa era la manera de castigar a las brujas). Cuando comienza todo el castigo el principe se pregunta si enverdad hizo lo correcto. Mientras que el angel llora y al final no le queda otro remedio que mostrar sus alas y escapar, el principe se arrepiente de lo que hizo y guarda una de sus plumas.

The lyrics to this song are too deep, at least for me. Listening to it really made me think about how something similar to this must have happened at one point in time. My theory is that Adrien's ancestor is the prince, but Marinette is actually in the bloodline of the nun, instead with Chloe holding the blood of a former Ladybug holder. This is because just like the story, the nun had "harbored her love for the prince for a long time", but if you think of it, Marinette had hidden her crush on Adrien for a long time too. Chloe, although Adrien might not like her back, had been the one to actually take action to know Adrien and try get close.

There should be a plot twist where Adrian is the King and he just likes Chloe but Alya is keeping her away from her so Adrian sends Marrinette to kill Alya her best friend. Out raged, Nico and Chloe try to kill Adrian. Until Marinette dyes her hair Blonde and cuts it and dress as Adrian and tells Adrian to dye his hair black and wear this hood. So Marinette Dies because she Loved him but that will be probably messed up.

El sacerdote cree que la niña debe haber usado la magia negra para que el príncipe se enamore de ella y la declara una bruja. El príncipe, un miembro de la iglesia, cree a regañadientes en la monja. Só que um dia, a POSSÍVEL ancestral da Chloe ou viu viu a ancestral da Mari se transformar ou talvez simplismente por cíumes do príncipe, acusou-a de bruxaria. Depois disso, cortaram os cabelos dela e a crucificaram, injustamente, pois a verdadeira bruxa era a que acusou.

I know what the description says contradicts this, but what if the prince is Marinette's ancestor and the witch is Adrien's ancestor. When the witch realized her prince wasn't going to save her she cursed him and all his descendants. This curse made all of the Prince's descendants always only able to fall in love once, and once in love they never fall back out. Hence why Marinette was so obsessed with Adrien.

it seems to me like the girl was an angel with wings dyed black from the ash of the stake she was tied to. betrayed by her lover and seen as an enemy by everyone. because of how unique she is. she returns to the heavens. because she was referred to as a witch and the jealousy of the now evil and corrupt nun/church who have control over the people and kingdom they'll forever be cursed and tragedy shall befall them. (side note: who burns people alive on a stake if that nun ain't the devil or evil and corrupt idk what is)

this is my favorite version of the story "witch", the singers and design are awesome... i love this

(no se ablar mucho espanoil espero que entiendas) Lo que pasa es que Una mujer se enamoro de un Principe, y otra persona penso que el prinsipe se enamoro muy rapido y penso que la mujer era una bruja. Y la persona le dijo a el principe que era una bruja la mujer y le creyó. Y le dijo a todos y querían matar a la mujer. Pero al final la mujer se escapó.
