My family owned a movie theatre for many years. Over time you pick up the trends with movie releases. One of the trends is if a horror movie comes out in the first quarter or during the summer it's likely gonna suck especially if it's not rated R. Legit horror movies are released during the Halloween season from Mid September through October.

You know it's gonna be a good one when it starts out with everyone arguing

Wow, why would they hire a 30-year-old? Joey King wasn’t even 18 when they filmed that movie.

I actually had a garbage disposal whose button was at hip-level, so you could accidentally set it off while digging in the sink. I learned to work around it, but visitors set the stupid thing off by accident all the time (but none were hurt!). As dumb as it is, that horror-movie trope really can happen.

I can't tell you all how much your videos pick me up.

I've been stuck in Summer School for a good bit of my break, but y'all have easily made it more bearable. For real, I love your videos! Keep it up!

IIRC there _was_ an episode of Afraid of the Dark (I thought it was Goosebumps) with this same premise (or something similar), except it was a spooky thing in a closet in the basement of a dead uncle's house.

This movie reminds me of that X-Files episode where Mulder and Scully find a "Genie" and when they asked for world peace, she granted that but it was twisted to where the entire world was devoid of human beings. Just like the two dudes that had the genie wished for one of them to come back from the dead, so he's a zombie. Funny shit, though.

The monster of the movie is Clair and breaking her addiction to it. Clair was already evil before she received it..it just brought out her evilness. Cursed objects appear to those who it knows wants revenge

This review gave me a new ship.

What movie will this studio do next? Domino Death. Where people get killed from elaborately set up domino displays.

I’ve watch this review about four times and realized I’ve never liked it. I am ashamed with myself.

My wishes would be: 1: Wish that humans never suffered from diseases, disorders, and disabilities except for injury. 2: Wish that genital mutilation never became a practice anywhere. 3: Wish that humans were always peaceful. 4: Wish that all humans in history can choose whether or not to photosynthesize instead of eating. 5: Wish that nudism was universal and encouraged rather than shunned and kept in the minority. 6: Wish that technology was 1000+ years more advanced. Wait until I'm very old for the last one. 7: Wish for a painless death.

"Haters gonna hate" - line delivered in the most unironically 'white' fashion possible during this movie. Comedy gold!

The title Wish Upon brings to mind the Wishmaster series, and I thought this was another one of those films. But, this looks like Final Destination lite.

At about 17:00 in: You said it, this is just a "Final Destination" rip-off with a new gimmick. I'll wait a few months and then do with it like I did with the Final Destination movies; somebody out there will post the most interesting parts (the deaths) on KZread and I can just see them without having to suffer through the 'story' ^_^
