Even though I have sisters and parents nothing compares to her. She had wisdom and loyalty that was out of this world no one was like her I got betrayed by my husband I’m going through divorce, betrayed by my siblings and parents even my friends stole my life savings my hard earned money I saved for 10 years it’s been a very tough 7 years but nothing compares to my granny’s death she was the best light in my life and the brightest. If it was not for God almighty and my fight in his wisdom, I would not have survived all the headaches..

@@toxicog18 You are entitled to your opinion. Nobody is creating a gender inequality here. An African Proverb stays as it is, whether we like it or not. I was privileged to have had such priceless advice from my Nan, an African woman who knew the wisdom in African Proverbs. I took my Nan's advice and I have had many blessings. Besides, in the African custom, the man is the head of his family, hence the wise advice from that proverb. There are two sides to a coin but like I said, our opinions do not change "An African Proverb" because we do not like the facts of it.

What I have discovered in watching multiple videos about 'wise sayings' from around the world is that every culture, country and region has wise people in it who think relatively the same. If you watch enough of these wise sayings videos you too will discover that wisdom is not isolated or restricted to any one peoples. God is wisdom and He gives himself to anyone who asks Him to.

Same goes for the worlds religions. When one leaves aside the usual screaming and shouting etc and scratch beneath the surface they all teach the same things, be kind, love one another, help those less fortunate than oneself and so forth. One only needs to look at the saying ‘united we stand, divided we fall’ to see it applies perfectly to how some view the religions of others. Peace

You hit it with this comment 🎯 to know thyself you have to know thy creator of your being. A lot of these proverbs are the exact same as King Yedidiya whose knowledge and wisdom came from TMH YAH not man perspectives and even mans perspectives come from a source and as tribal man are man always leans on his own understanding and not his spirit guide as being his source which makes it corrupted. Man thinks he’s more wiser than the one who is wise in HIS entirety

Ancestors can’t tell us shit dead they can leave legacy trails and wisdom however it came from a source and is not always useful unless they were aligned in spirit when they came to acknowledge something as a proverb to even write down experience gives wisdom however all wisdom is not experienced at first it’s acknowledged and then sought out with focus spirit drive it’s beyond human ability to compute without a divine source to engineer and give man the ability to absorb the power of the wisdom to live it out and become “wise” in it

@@aliray1165 There are 54 African countries, over 2,000 Afro-Asiatic languages, and over 3,000 ethnicities, whom all do not share the same cultural belief systems or traditions. Africa, is the birthplace of mathematics, astronomy, astrology, engineering, architecture, art, literature, tools, metallurgy, law, religion, navigation, international trade, medicine, the first university in the history of mankind to issue educational degrees, the world's oldest written and spoken languages from which ALL human language trees can be traced back to one African mother-tongue. The world's top five most genetically, culturally, and lingustically diverse countries IN THE WORLD ARE AFRICAN. All human populations descended from the African racial category. Your bigotry will never be able to change that, and no other human population can say that their racial category, did that.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. No one can say or claim to say with that beauty may look like it. A real man may take his Queen and see nothing but heaven and beauty whereas others may not. It should be built in to every human to disregard anyone else's opinion.
