How can these resistors be used with HO cars if the voltage limit is 15 - 10 volts? Stock wall warts alone are 22 volts and we all race our cars using DC power supplies at 10 amps & 24 volts. Please get back to me.
Mr. Caveman, My name is Thomas, I just viewed your “Wiring LED bulbs for slot cars Trains and landscapes,” video. It was very informative and thank you. I am in the beginning stages of building a slot car layout and I am interested in making lighting for my track. I have a series of questions that I have after viewing your video. 1. Will a separate train transformer power the LEDs (independently from the track power?) 2. If so, approximately how many LEDs can be powered if they are configured/wired to run in parallel? 3. Are resistors required if in parallel configuration? 4. What type (power rating, etc.) of LED would you recommend for track lighting? 5. Do you still have an eBay account/sell on eBay? I tried several ways to search for 123-caveman, but came up empty. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide! Thomas
