Wiring Haltech ECU to 1uz Part 2 Knock Sensor inputs

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video we are wiring a 1uz engine and A341 Automatic transmission with a Haltech Elite 2500 ecu. We wire the knock sensors in this video with a upgrade to Bosch 2 pin wideband sensors.
The Cartune Company (2003) Ltd in New Zealand does 1uz and 3uz conversions / parts and wiring. We have been working on UZ Toyota V8 engines since 2004 when we did our own Hiace van to transport dirtbikes around NZ. Since then we have swapped to doing mainly just Lexus V8 work from a family owned farm hidden away in our paradise , surrounded by the NZ native bush. We sell parts and simple to follow wiring instructions for the 1uzfe engines. For enquiries email info@thecartunecompany.co.nz Take Care. Kelvin

@@CartuneNZ Super busy... As a matter of fact, I am in the middle of editing my latest video with Guy Fieri, and it's HUGE. Actually, there's so much content, I had to break it into two videos. So this upcoming time, you'll get a, "two-episode special broadcast!" hahaha! I promise you though, it will make your jaw drop. hahahaha

What Bosch sensors are these and could the factory ECU use them as well?

Hi Kelvin, are you aware of the equivalent Bosch Knock Sensor PN that will bolt directly onto the Gen1 1UZFE valley location? It will be with an aftermarket ECU so exact frequency response as OEM isn't required, but just one with the right hole size

I was hoping for one wire sensor. How are those wired into the Haltech?

Same principle for single wire as two wire sensors except no sensor ground. Cheers Kelvin
