Hi I have the 3 switch control I know I need to hook up the 3 load what about the common wire it needs the 3 also o can be just only one

I am building a large addition, planning to install a Brilliant switch in the bedroom. What kind of fan should I get? I was planning to get a smart hunter fan, I just don’t want to use the extra remotes that fans come with and only use brilliant to turn on the light and turn on the fan.

I absolutely love the brilliant switch system however the places where I would want to use it have dead end three way switches so I would not be able to use it unfortunately doesn’t make sense to put a $300 smart switch in the bedroom. Would love it in the foyer next to the front door but that one has not only a dead end three-way switch but two circuits sharing a neutral. House was built in 71 btw

So the majority of the three way switches were wired with 14/2 instead of 14/3.

Update. I bit the bullet and bought one and put it in the finished basement and have fallen in love with it, even my mom who is not a tech person loves it and now wants to put One in the kitchen when we redo it and use it to control a five gang box full of Belkin WeMo switches for undercabinet lighting zones.

Why is my 3 way not working I can wire 3 way rocker switch all day long but with brilliant it seem to not work I have a line going to (c) then white to (n) on top I have L1 black wire and L2 red my 14/3 wire runs from brilliant to rocker 3 way on the rocker switch I have black screw black wire goes to lights the other travel wire that is coming from brilliant L1 my red and lights black wire goes to traveler and (n) wire connected together with wire nuts and it still won’t work as 3 way lights come on but I can only control with brilliant

I have a 4 gang brilliant switch which is being installed in front entry foyer. Ran into trouble once getting to the 3way circuits wiring. Have my single pole outside light (1) and single pole foyer light (2) correct but cannot figure out the 3 way to my ceiling fan (3) and recessed lighting (4) within my living. I think its wired correctly, once breaker is turned back on the fan and light works but no action taken when push test button on brilliant switch, same for recessed lighting no action when test button pushed or on 3way switch side is flipped. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Could an outlet be replaced by Brilliant? There would not be any load since it’s not a switch, but it would still have line, neutral, and ground.

Can confirm it doesn't need a load to work. I have the sliders programmed for my Hue lights.

Did he buy one with too many switches? I think they are $300 for 1 then $50 extra for each switch up to four.
