One can usually count themselves very lucky if they find an installation video for just about any product that actually goes step-by-step through the installation process showing every step in detail. As I understand it, that’s the whole intention behind an installation video. This installation video was probably the most thorough, yet concise installation video I have used in years. I ordered the GTA car kit for my 2016 Mercedes GLC 300 and received it today. I also installed it today following the steps from this video and it was exactly as described. Every component I received in the car kit was very high-quality. I had the car kit installed in about 40 minutes and it works perfectly! Thank you for your thoroughness with your installation videos and for an upgrade car kit that actually interfaces precisely with the vehicle it was designed for and that works for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

I am very impressed with the quality of this product. I searched for weeks looking for the best way to add Apple CarPlay to my GLC300 and this was the only product I found that added CarPlay without disrupting any of the car's original functionality. Everything installed and functioned exactly as shown in this video. The whole project took about an hour and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Thank you GTA Car Kits.....!

Just finished installing as is described on my glc 300 2018., Great instructions, step by step (and thanks for the call out on optical cable if present), works perfectly., with all other car features., Highly recommend for anyone of interest., Thanks so much GTA CAR KITS. Absolute game changer. I'm a caveman and was able to pull this off. I love my GLC, but the lack of CarPlay was absolutely infuriating. This took roughly an hour and the Merc has caught up to 2024. Only item of note: Don't assume the size of your screen and change the DIP settings. I had to change from 5 to 4 because I thought mine was the 7" smaller screen. Outside of that? Nothing. Works like a charm. THANK YOU!

After great research of adding a CarPlay to my car, I came up to idea that this non-screen solution it the best for my w205 cause 1) it doesn’t interfiere with the original multimedia brain, it doesn’t duplicate it. 2) there is no any additional antennas, cables, or SIM cards so there is NOTHING to break or lag here. Literally non-breaking thing; 3) you can still use all the oem functionality including steering wheel and etc. The only thing that I changed from you video is that I hided these new cables in center console: I put them inside the console so nobody can see them. and just duplicated the unused usb to the liberated space

Hey, does the the backup camera starts automatically? Or do I have to close Apple CarPlay manually when driving backwards?

How is the audio with this unit? I've tried multiple different units and none of them sound as good as the factory sound.

When playing the OEM radio can you switch to a CarPlay app like Waze for instance and still keep the audio from the radio?

If you purchase an obd2 dongle to enable mercedes aux, can you get rid of some of the cables into the center storage, only needing the aux to power the unit?
