Wired to Wander Ch 11 "Harris" [Idaho Archery Elk Success]

Wired to Wander Ch 11 "Harris"
This was the start of the 2015 Idaho Archery Elk season. Yet at that point in my life as an elk hunting fanatic, one could rightly question just what I expected could be any different than the previous ten seasons- which had brought me as much (if not more) frustration than satisfaction. But as I’ve tried to vividly describe in so many ways- the adventure, exploration and learning involved in thoughtful hunting pursuits- in the end always provides me with a life-long, nourishing satisfaction.
It was August 31, the second day of Idaho’s archery season and just our second day in the field. Like a couple lizards, Harris and I were scaling along high elevation ridge lines when a rubbing bull opposite our location caught our attention. I’ll let Harris take it from here...

Awesome presentation. You've got it. Congratulations on a great hunt and a really beautiful bull. Looking forward to more. I really don't get frustrated anymore. Just consider it a great privilege to immerse into their environment. Don't get me wrong a bull is the goal but he's just one piece of the puzzle.

Hey thanks so much, can't tell you how much I appreciate hearing that. And yes, the broken antler beam was indeed there in the debris field where that big fella tumbled through the trees!

Great video but the scripted commentary and how "selfless" you are is waaaaay toooo. much yikes. I will mot ever watch this again wow the commentating just is beyond over the top. Seriously trying way too hard with the attempt of big words. Wow
