Wipeout Omega Collection: Auricom Prototype pacifist challenge (Sol A+ challenge, no weapons)

Once again bringing a peaceful tank to a race ;P
Much harder this time around compared to the first time I did this. Shield energy management was very critical to success here. There are so many barrel roll spots its tempting to get all of them, but then you will run into the issue that the shields won't recharge quickly enough for this to be sustainable. At most I found the two spots I did barrel rolls on to be viable without depleting all my energy too early.
For the uninitiated:
The Auricom prototype is a fighter class craft whose gimmick is that it cannot be slowed down by weapons. It shrugs off the slow down effect completely and maintains its speed regardless. It also has a self-recharging shield (approx 1% every 2 seconds). This sounds great on paper.
However the drawbacks is the large size (big hitbox!), heavy handling and weight (not as bad as Pir-hana prototype, but still heavy handling), lack of ability to absorb weapons for health, the fact you cannot pick-up any green weapon (no turbos! :[ ) and it is very slow at 50 speed. its also surprisingly fragile despite being an Auricom which specialise shields, pair that with a slow recharge rate and you die quite frequently in this thing o.O
The meta for combat in 2048 makes this a very unfavourable choice.
Nevertheless, this is a fun challenge and I recommend it to all the pros who want to work for a 1st place. Sadly RNG plays a big part, but skill is still very much key to success.

I don't think they'd fire him for a Pacifist win. Remember Auricom had a thing about the "beauty of the race" to discourage overuse of their Fusion super.

No.1 tip is to always use AG-SYS speed ship in A+ races, its absolute god tier.

Feisar Prototype tho is actually pretty underrated, for the speed it has the handling is really good (I think it’s around 70, the stats it displays are actually the same as the Feisar Speed but it behaves differently on the speed) and with good skills it’s an absolute monster at A+ races Still tho I can agree on the AG Speed being amazing, I remember beating some challenges with the chrome painted Speed ship

God lap 9/10 made me shiver
I really wish it were possible to play Zone Battle or Detonator on the 2048 tracks. I wonder if any glitch hunters can make it happen.
