Every carrier needs at least 6 submarines (3 ssk, 3 ballistics), 2 missile frigates with long range radars, 2 supply ships, etc. Carrier is just one main part of the power and defense projections.

Going on trials right now, soon we will see that as well. India is short on naval fighter jets, some of them are pretty dang old ! Naval fighters are resting on INS Vikramaditya, India's current operational aircraft carrier.

Thanks for the explanation, but later it will be the normal state, to have jets on board. Why do not make the sea trials under normal conditions, with jets ? Its how it should work and should be tested. (I have to make it clear, I mean my question well. I am happy about this nice ship.)

The structure size has been enhanced by reducing the weight in the internal compartments through use of light weight materials in the internal walls constriction

India already have 4 Aircraft carrier , Lakshdweep and Andman are our Natural Aircraft carrier plus this 2 procured and made indigenously and with induction of INS Vishal we will get 5th one .
