The overhead wiring for intersections for trolley buses looks both complicated and expensive to build and maintain. A far better solution appears in the following video kzread.info/dash/bejne/p4SZzMmdqcy-ipc.html I'm certainly no expert, but I would think eliminating the grapevine you find at intersections would have to save the transit authority enough money to make the change-over worth while.
