I always seem to manage to play all the really difficult parts with ease when recording but then manage to fuck up some really simple things 1000 times in a row :D

Haha :D I think it's because I'm somehow a perfectionist when it comes to recording my stuff. If there is even the slightest mistake during slow and easy parts it has a huge impact and can easily be heard at the end result ^^ I always thought I'm the only one with this problem....well, this gives me hope! :D

This is what the desire for perfection looks like. Loneliness was such a labor of love for Jari it is no surprise it was so difficult.

I know you will probably not read this, but fuck whatever: I seriously want to thank you for making this song, my eyes always tear up from the melody. It's genuinely beautiful and touching to listen to just parts of this song, even when they're just instrumental. The expression you create is immensely strong and shakes my whole body. As much as I loved the Loneliness Acoustic track from when I first heard it, I definitely feel like I have even more of a newfound appreciation for the song now. The work Jari puts into the perfection of every single string pluck here seems so grueling. Labor of love, that's for sure!

This is exactly what I feel: There is always one Song, that is very very emotional. In Wintersun it was Sleeping Stars, in Time I it was Land of Snow and Sorrow and in Seasons it is Loneliness. And I swear to every god in the world, I had so fucking big tears in my eyes by first listening, it was like a vulcano of emotions. Mixed emotions. Some good, too. Then I realized, that I am still alive and should be thankful, that I can feel such intensive, strong feelings. I listen to metal since I was a kid, but no band ever brought me to tears, like you did, Jari. I supported you, by buying and I will repeat. Thanks for rumble my feelings and let me feel alive, like I never did before! That is 100% pure art. Thank you, I love you!

Haha the amount of "Vittu" here. That is also my most frequently used word when recording.

This song certainly has the voice of the soul vibe an my opinion.

I know why Jari wrote this song, and it’s beautiful. But when I first heard this I knew nothing of Wintersun or the original inspiration of this song. To me I felt with the imagery on the screen, the lyrics, the feelings…I felt as if It was the goodbye of a lost WWII soldier trying to find his was back lost in the dead cold winter, missing his family and child, almost making it back but but just barely missing it

Ahh, the very same tone as my vittus usually are too when playing and failing something. Not anger, just digit frustration.

In every one of these Wintersun teaser videos I am getting used to just skipping to the last couple minutes when they show the final product of each new song clip. They are all incredible! Can't wait for July!

I wonder if the mixing and mastering the album was done with the HD 600's or the HD 650's. I own a pair of the latter, and they've always seemed very ideal for Wintersun, and guess I now know why!
