Every year motorcyclists in the Northern Hemisphere face a dilemma. do they keep on riding through the cold, wet and salt? Or, do they tuck the bike away somewhere safe, warm and dry? Each approach has its merits and drawbacks. Last year, I was forced to keep my Moto Guzzi V7 on the road as I dealt with various mechanical issues and rectified neglect by the previous owner. This year, I decided to put the bike away and this is how I did it in 4 parts. As usual, I encountered a few catastrophes along the way and learnt some new tricks. This is not rocket science of course and you may disagree with my methods, or have some brilliant tips of your own to pass on. Either way, comments and suggestions are welcomed (as long as they are phrased politely)
