On a beautiful winters morning on Saturday the 11th of June, Ja 1271 & Da 1410 headed to Feilding for their craft market. The train headed from Paekakariki (Steam Incorporated's home base) to Wellington before sunrise. Ja 1271 was turned in the yards to face north and Da 1410 was attached to the rear of the train.
We follow the train up the coast as far as Waikanae.
