Winter Steam on the Grand Canyon Railway
Great winter steam action on the Grand Canyon Railway. It’s February and it’s cold and a great time for steam as 2-8-0 #29 and 2-8-2 #4960 handle two days of photo charters.
Enjoy great action with each locomotive individually as well as doubleheaded between Williams and Grand Canyon Village including Coconino Canyon!

For some reason, I feel like I was there while watching this video…. Oh wait….I was there, haha! First time I was ever on a Lerro charter, and then I got to be conductor for the one at TVRM the next spring!

Why not get a much quieter camera shutter, or take a picture with your phones? I mean with the ringers off, obviously.

And now you know. This railway has been around for a long time after all.
So neat to see! I remember hearing distant trains when out west, but never saw tracks.
