Winter Series 2022-23: Kimble Battle/ Heil CNrG FEL
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Here we have a truck I was super excited to film and and been searching for for a while. Kimble got couple CCC rear loaders in last year, but I had no luck finding them. It makes sense, seeing as the Battle/CCC factory is literally a stone's throw from Kimble HQ. Then this year I saw they had one of these at Waste Expo. They were hard to come by, but credit to Buckeye State Solid Waste for tracking one down in South Euclid. I had to go up that way for something, so I made it a point to stop and check the truck out. This truck was about 4 months old at the time of the video.
Interestingly, you will notice these trucks are right side only instead of dual drive. The driver said that takes some getting used to for sure. Overall he is pretty happy with it, he likes the speed and the fact that you can comfortably sit and work. It is fairly roomy all things considered and does what it needs to do. From a right side setup, it blows the Autocars they have been buying out of the water. I was impressed with the unit and can see Battle becoming an even more prominent player in the industry as Mack, Autocar, and the like struggle to meet demand.
A big thanks to the driver John for making this video possible. He is a 20 year industry veteran and a real pro!
Comments appreciated!

Nice video keep up the good work!!😊
nice video
Excellent video man. I like this truck.
Great video!
You found this! Got caught up last night reading your comment thread on Buckeye State’s video and thought I might see this pop up from you soon. Sure is an interesting truck, one that doesn’t feel like it fits in. Still neat to see some more footage either way.
Great Footage love the different angles 😊

Great footage! Not a huge fan of those new Curotto grippers but they seem to work good on routes like these. Any idea what’s running over in Sandusky? I’m taking a vacation over there soon and wanted to film a few of their trucks.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Honestly I am not super familiar with that area but I know republic runs out there and it’s their standard LR/ Freedom combo that has swept the nation
Battle Motors, if you're reading this, I suggest you stop focusing on the re-marketing of a successful product, the LET2, and focus your resources on making electric trucks. (While you're at it you can drop the stupid UFC sponsorship, too). This big fake plastic grille with BATTLE looks horribly ugly and it suggests you're more focused on aesthetics than function. Look at the CCC Centurion in my profile picture and try to create a better version of that. As for the videographer, excellent job. I see Kimble is making full use of the Curotto on this route and the driver knows how to use it to his advantage picking up bags with the arm and hand tossing stuff when needed. I would like to see how they set up the joystick for the Curotto and the Heil front loader arms, since the LET2 historically never had a good spot for those and body builders had to make their own armrests/control panels.

I actually have a video of the operation inside the cab. It has a single joystick that controls both the Curotto and the FL arms. Skip to about halfway through kzread.info/dash/bejne/enh1w7Kthc6vmso.html
