Fall Series 2022: Rumpke McNeilus FEL

Here we have unit 82370 from Rumpke picking up trash in Broadview Heights on a late September afternoon. I was up for the video of the Premier and wanted to find something else to make the trip worth it, and stumbled across this. An older unit for sure, it reminded me a lot of the original Republic Brown and Yellow Curottos. It has that classic LEU sound and I estimate it is around the same age. This route was actually set up for a resi can and I was hoping to catch one of them, but the driver's skill tossing the bags in, gripping hand cans, etc. made for a fun video. He was a blast to film and I hope he enjoys the video- a big thanks to him for making it possible! I will definitely be up to film one of their resi cans and hopefully some rear loads, maybe another Curotto or two at a later date.

Good stuff as always! These older diesel Atlantics are freaking awesome, and the Columbus yard used to have several but I never got to film any unfortunately. Definitely so much better than the CNG ones they bought after these. I was so happy to find out that Cleveland has so many more old front loaders still running, I actually tried filming in Broadview Heights twice before. The first time got only a few clips of one of these but with a carry can. It might’ve been the same driver from this video actually. Then the other time I found one of these but the driver wouldn’t let me film. Also I wanted to say if you ever wanted to meet up and film together or something that would be nice so just let me know

Have you filmed anything else from them? And yes that would cool, they have a lot up here between Parma, North Royalton, Broadview, Richfield, and Bath

Thank you sir, glad you found the video! Next time I’m in the area I may have to swing by. I’ve been dying to catch someone in that gray and red truck you guys got so maybe I’ll get lucky one day. LOL
this route must suck when fall leaves season starts the arm was fast then slow then slower truck needs a paint job dude stop blocking traffic lol you parked almost in that dead end street you come back and have a parking ticket or worse they'll tow it its happend to me

Go look at my rumpke vid, same truck is shown, it looks to have had its hydraulic issues fixed, but mine is PEAK YW season
