Winter Sea Fishing for Cod - Whitby East Pier | The Fish Locker
Winter Sea Fishing for Cod is a favourite of so many anglers in the UK. Today I revisit my home town of Whitby and fish with my friend from Whitby's East Pier. We explain the baits, the rigs and the tactics for fishing for cod from the shore.
For more information about CART bait, here is Tom's detailed magazine feature explaining everything about the subject. hookpoint.co.uk/in-the-cart/
Here are links to some of the tackle we used in this session. I hope it helps.

Hi John, we just moved by the ocean out here in the U.S. to San Diego California. Watching your fishing channel inspired us to move close to the water. I have been watching since the pandemic. Continue to love your show, after 4 years I eventually made it back to from China. Your channel has been one of those things that sustained me, which is really interesting as I have been a veggie for 38 years, I am one of those ‘ANNOYING VEGGIES’, in h that I really don’t care what people eat so long as they show the animal respect. I have witnessed the respect you have shown your food . Please keep up the great work.

Thank you Stephen. I am also of that opinion and I actually have a fair few vegan/vege followers who comment as you have. Providing you fish/hunt/forage in a responsible, sustainable and respectful manner. Showing your food the proper humane respect it deserves I am ok with it.
