This was an excellent video. 👍🏻 I learned a bunch…Tytyty! I especially love the portion about only pruning the top fruiting portion of the primocane and getting more fruit year two. 👍🏻

My Bramble canes are all purple.

I don’t understand. Does the style of pruning determine when the plant bears fruit? Or does the variety of plant determine how you prune?

My entire plant is on the ground. In the end of 1st year. Got tons of vegetation. How are yours standing up???. Mine looks like a vining bush almost. Please help

Yours might be a "trailing" type, while his could be "semi" or fully "erect"

Did you put up a trellis or wires for the plant to grow on? Without support, like the wires used to hold up the plants in the video, the vines will just lay on the ground.

Whats the difference between floracane and primacane? Are they different kinds of raspberry or what?

Primocane-fruiting raspberry plants can produce a limited number of flowers and fruits the first year, from late summer to fall, and then produce a second, larger crop of berries from floricanes in the second year. In contrast, floricane-fruiting raspberry canes produce no fruit in the first year.
