Yes mate exactly he is a top skipper tried everything that day to get us a fish but unfortunately they weren’t biting 👍

nice video, chaps are a good laugh, the reason no fish is that the pollock are a lot further out this time of year, needs to be at least 180feet of water and upwards and a minium of 20 miles straight out, further the better, pollock should be coming in closer within a week or 2, certainly early april onwards.

Hi Adrian thanks for the comment, he did want to get a lot further out past the shipping channel but unfortunately the wind just wasn’t letting us hopefully we will be back down and on them soon cheers for the tips 👍🎣

I suppose that’s why they call it fishing and not catching, won’t be long before the good fishing starts down here in the south.🎣🎣👍🏻

Your traces are way too short m8 for Pollock fishing. We use at least 15 foot on the wrecks and fast retrieve.
