@@jayambermsp8000 i made a mistake of getting rid of mine years ago something was wrong with it probably the belt the motor was working but it wouldent even pick up pieces of tissue off the floor when it was ok it was a great vacuum we now have a vax pet max the brushbar is great on it and it has really good agitation it collects loads of fine dust from the bottom of the carpet pile my next vacuum after that most likely will be a commercial sebo i also have an electrolux microlite great for quick cleanup on carpets and the car.

Hi Sam -would you happen to have any spares for a electrolux 560 upright? I’m after the speed control pot and the silver box of tricks next to it? My machine was working fine,but now after 10 minutes of use it stutters a bit,then when I change the speed it cuts out altogether -I’ve sprayed the pot,still the same-and the silver box looks sealed. Just had another look at it,and the silver box does unclip from its holder,the silver box is actually a large heatsink for a transistor and small board-so I think maybe the transistor maybe breaking down-I May try changing it-but if you have a spare I’ll happily pay for it 😀 Thanks Martin
