My no buy began six weeks ago just until the end of the year, going to be doing a low buy in 2022... Since I discovered your channel I am definitely inspired to look at fashion from a new perspective 🌈 you've given me some great tips and ideas on how to shop my wardrobe. For that I would like to say thank you.
Nothing New '22! Love it. Especially the replacements out. Might need a few of those if weight changes drastically. 🤔. Thanks for the inspiration and direction. And yes, it does affect our mood and self confidence and self image. That said, it is sad we worry about what others will think. I hope to focus on how good I feel, not how I fit in with the latest fad. I look forward to more altering and upcycling tips. If you just show what others have done it would be OK. TFS. Even one dress or skirt would be cool to see. Paired with a turtleneck or blouse for layering.

I’m someone who likes naturals. I’m also someone with brown hair. Beige and brown tones look really pretty on me. I love keeping it simple and classic. I like to add interest with lace and feminine items.

I had my colors done in the 1990's (mom took me to a "color party"). I have always kept my colors in mind when shopping. I naturally gravitate towards my colors anyway....

Hi Signe, I'm with you about dirty toddler boots on white jeans! I hope you'll give us lots of content over the next months and years about practical compromises to your personal style. For example I'm an inverted triangle and like to draw attention to my bottom half, but when out with kids, light colours are hard to pull off so I try wider silhouettes instead. However, that works better for the city than for the countryside, where wider hems would slosh about in the dirt. Dark skinnies tucked into boots are just the most practical when out with adventurous kids. So I've now accepted that I have one or two style uniforms for being out with little ones, and another for work/going out.
Can tell you loved outfit 6 by how happy you look wearing it.

The hot weather finally broke here in California, about a month late. I had so much fun these last few days, bringing out and steaming my “new” (winter) wardrobe from storage. I love wearing sweaters, blazers and boots again. And, today, we’re getting that most wished-for thing, rain! We’ve been in a long term drought pattern here for many years, and/or we’re seeing climate change in action. I didn’t realize in how many places my roof is leaking, though, bummer.
