I truly enjoy watching. We no longer tent camp, as we once did, long ago, i have a handicap that prohibits it now, so watching your videos comforts me. It’s nice to see a young man who is so respectful of nature, as well…i just started watching a week or so ago, but truly enjoying, especially when your dog is in them as well. Not to mention you love Bourbon and a good whiskey as much as I do..my husband is more of a beer drinker. Stay safe, keep up the great videos..your neighbors up here in NY State (close to Saratoga Lake)
This video was nice and relaxing love the sound of the water and wood cracking 👍🏼

You're better than me when it comes to camping in the cold. I like being warm when I settle into the tent. I deal with the extra weight to carry a 4 person tent so that I have room for my buddy heater. Be safe.

@@BrooksandBirches Hope you have someone to hunt with that has some turkey hunting experience. When I started in late 70s early 80s the few veterans I knew were a very secretive lot. Had to pretty much learn on my own. Every trip out is a learning experience. Best game you can play in the woods. You can do it !

Great and relaxing videos. Just a warning from my own experience: Take care when handling the spirit burner when it is hot, it will melt the rubber gasket in the lid and then the spirit will not be contained in the burner during transport and storage.

Thanks buddy! 👍🏻👍🏻
couple of hopefully helpful point from a camping layman.....give the alcohol in the stove a little swirl before lighting should help give a little bit of vapour which will ignite easier and test if its lit with one of those little twigs could save an unpleasant burn......other than that crack on lad - reet good 🤣👍

Good idea mate! I keep holding my hand over it like a div and waiting till it burns me 🤣👍
Rob, you're cranking out the trips,, love that! Great trip as always. What did you think of the big agness? Not sure what model it is. I have one from several years ago, and like it. You've got the stove down good. I have a Trangia stove set and really like it. In fact,, when the ice took away our power for days a couple of years ago, its what I used to make coffen and cook with at home. We had another bad ice storm this year, but luckily in Texas the power stayed on. Good seeing you out and about again.

Thanks Jay! I like the big Agnes. I’ve had this tent for a couple of years now but haven’t used it too much just because of the price point. I feel like once I got my canoe my backpacking went down so I was able to bring less expensive heavier tents with me

Hey Rob - Another good one in the books. You have been very busy this week. Such a beautiful spot to camp. The sound of the river rushing by would be awesome to listen too. I would have slept like a log to the music of the river. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Take Care & Stay Safe, Randy in Arizona

Congratulations on camping without a heater. As far as I am concerned, if you are going to use a “hot tent”, you might as well stay home and camp, out in your living room.
