1st to watch all the way through!! Great video again, Daniel! I always enjoy the rabbit snaring videos. I sure wish I knew more about how to do it. Sure, a guy sees how you set yours, and I've watched all of them, but I'll have to rewatch them to see what kind of wire I need and other supplies to do it. Once i gather it all, maybe I'll give it a go! Its sad that I haven't eaten rabbit in so many years that I dont really remember how they taste. Merry Christmas, Brother, and im praying that the coming year blesses you well in all your adventures!

To mean how to make the snares? Go check out NLghostwolf he has videos on it. The type of wire is different place to place. Here I use stainless on the island is brass. For wire and gauge it depends on your state laws.

Yeah I got to the point where if I never had a coffee in the evening before bed I would wake up in the middle of the night and have to have coffee before going back to bed because my Headaches were so bad. I was having to schedule my life around when and where to get coffee. Find myself in some situations putting green tea in hot tap water to keep the headaches away while traveling. Lol. It took me a good couple weeks as well, but my energy is more consistent, and I feel much better. Congrats on kicking the addiction. It's not easy! Best of luck and thank you for commenting!

I saw another video using that same rabbit pen method, and the author had a few tips that I'll pass on (have not yet tried them myself, but they seemed to make sense) First, you mentioned that you had some 'breakages', which I take meant that the rabbit had struggled and managed to kink the wire enough to break it. The author of the other video made what he called a 'fisherman's snare', where he attached the wire to a piece of paracord before tying it off. The flexibility of the paracord kept the wire from kinking, so it didn't break. Next he also mentioned that a free hanging snare can get pushed out of the way too easily, which seemed to happen to a couple of your snares. He solved this by leaving a tag of a couple of inches of wire left over from when he twisted the loop for the snare, then put a short wooden peg into the ground next to where the snare hangs. He put a short split into the top end of the peg and slipped the end of the wire tag into it. This kept the noose from being pushed aside by the rabbit when it passed by. Like I said, I haven't tried it yet, but if you do let me know how it works out.

I like that snare with weight. Pretty slick. It saddens me that some people can't clean up after themselves. It's fine to enjoy the cabin, but at least they can take the garbage with them. You may need some aloe for that finger. Lol 🔥☝️

Did you try the ROCK 🪨 with black pepper on it for rabbits catching buddy . I find it work great in O’Regan’s on the island off Newfoundland buddy . Need a few feed bags off hay with you for your rabbits pen . 😊

Never tried pepper. Might have to try it. But I have tried hay, set up trail cameras a few years back and placed hay, alfalfa, carrots etc next to birch tips and everytime they preferred sweet buds on fresh birch tips(ones on the red twigs up high in the tree). They only ate the carrots after the tips were gone.

Ohhh boy! Don't watch my next video then! Or any others for that matter. I live a different culture than most as yourself. If you don't agree with my way of life and how I feed my family, that's completely fine and have no bearing on me whatsoever. That's your ignorance to deal with and your bigotry to manage. You could just increase your level of self awareness and realize not everyone lives in places of privilege where you can afford not to snare and trap. And put that knowledge to use and understand, you are only viewing this from an emotional prospective, and choose to not comment in the first place, revealing to all who read it, what kind human you are. Take care.

No b'ye, I'm just going around breaking into cabins for the night am I? Lol. I assure you it is. I know the history of this cabin, it basically become a warning shack now and It's been abandoned for over 15 years. I'm a grown man bro, I don't just go into cabins without knowing the history. A scatter person uses it time to time or to drink after sledding for the day. Why wild you assume it isn't abandoned? Do you know something I don't
