Chris “make sense” Paine making sense out of a nonsense world. lol. Some real gems here, really makes sense.
Me: "But fighting to keep your hips high is a lot of fscking work!" Chris Haueter: "Hence the 'seductive nature of guard', my friend" Me: "But I want to be lazy! I came to BJJ because I didn't want to wrestle hard anymore!" Priit Mihkelson: "Too bad."

Let the pansies be pansies is what i say.
"I don't have time to watch a seminar. I'm bored though so I'll just skim through it; it's probably not that relevant to my game anyway. Well, I guess I can put off my responsibilities again for an hour". Damn you, Chris.
loving all the chris paines videos!
End point very good
Absolutely love this one!
Thanks for sharing! Stay safe!
Brilliant as always Chris & team!
This video is golden. Awsome stuff
hips high is literal cheat codes. I have literally said "nah" to so many sweeps just by shooting my hips in the air. I just like do a side plank and sweep no. People just bounce off of you like a backboard, its hilarious. So true about blue belts lol. As a white belt, learning to pass single leg X was cheat codes against blue belts bc its all they fucking do at my gym lmao.

its literally such a dick move 😂
Fantastic video Chris. Great presentation.
I see Chris is sporting the Zangief look from StreetFighter.
Good stuff as always guys! May I suggest adding subtitles to capture at least some of the less audible bits like what was asked during q&a?
bottom leg - 5:30 , 7:00 , 13:00 , 15:50 hips - 18:10
I'm a black belt, and I am realizing I focused to much on guard and even half guard. Now it is time to grapple like a wrestler.
This is amazing content, but next time can the person filming maybe sit further away from the person typing every single word that is being said, or if it is the same person can they film the class first and then transcribe it afterwards in private? It is hard to focus with a non stop clicking sound in the background.

Sorry about that! Will definitely make sure nobody is taking notes on a laptop next time we film. Didn't notice on the day

@@kodiakcombatcollective actually just found out that it is the lens on one of the cameras that makes this sound on some videos. Sorry about that, we will make sure to not use it again in the future!

No worries on the sound, @@BJJGlobetrotters I think it's just people going "is there a possibility of a transcript?"

Teach em😊 Or don't... It's going to be waaay harder for you afterwards 😂
Thank you Chris. Amazing tips. Its so much easier when you implement this guide lines. I became a super hero with this. But please be more aware of the tipping while filming, its complety ruining the seminar.

I don't think it's a laptop. I think the camera was set to servo mode for focusing. I get the exact same noise when I used servo mode on my camera with a gimbal.
