I love the way they build the song up and put emotion into it it's like you can feel that dark heavy energy just radiating off of him he is a amazing performer when displaying that and I feel like you can really relate to his struggle like we all have gone to that dark place.

@@allmetal7320 I actually do, sometimes. If it's good, it's good. I just think I'd rather see Parkway repeating a formula that works, rather than producing something that's unlistenable to me, but that's my point of view. Same goes for Architects - the last album is such a disappointment...

I only know PWD from their singles, but I have been keeping an eye on them for quite sometime, Glitch is ok for me, nothing special but the second single I really dig it, hopefully more songs are like this one or harder. I ordered the album and as well I am waiting for Atlas. Old days sound more genuine but we will see.

It feels like Parkway has been stuck in exactly the same sound for 3 records straight, and the more interviews they do, the less genuine it comes across. The overly simple style they’ve adopted now (ridiculously simple drums, basic repeating riffs, reused simple breakdowns, reused melodies, etc) is not for me or any of my friends who liked them at one point. Their lyrics also feel like someone was tasked with writing ‘angry very serious sounds’ but not feeling them at all. It’s weird. Compare Deep Blue & Atlas to everything they’ve done since, lyrically & musically, and it doesn’t even compare. I genuinely hope they are happy with what they produce, and I’m sure it’s great for their target audience, European festivals goers who don’t really know them, but everything after Atlas has felt simplified to the point of it almost being funny, while lyrics suffer & the band just constantly seems busy trying to convince everyone about something they are not genuine about.

Well. Just spent 14 minutes to hear Winston gave up on heavy vocals that founded parkway drive, so sad cause that music has helped so many people through hard times in life. Oh well. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Hopefully wage war keeps up with the heavy side of metalcore and not the pop punk shit everyone is doing
