I’m buying acres in the sky • And building stairs with every lie • With every step I make her cry • Until I die, until I die • I’m swinging hard for all my life • Reaching across this great divide • Until I see the other side • Until I die, until I die • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows dark, darker still • I’m swimming deep into her eyes • I’m swimming strong, but won’t survive • The dark, the blue, I cannot fight • Until I die, until I die
I’m wishing hard upon the night • With every wish, a new star dies • But bright, the light behind her eyes • Until I die, until I die • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows dark • Until I die, until I die • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows dark.

Been listening to you guys since I was 16. I’m 31 now. Saw you live when I was in high school. “Parkway Drive” also was my senior quote under my photo in the yearbook. I did reports on you for multiple classes in multiple grades. You were also in my “senior project”. Lastly… my father has a friend in Byron Bay. So we asked him to take a photo of Parkway Drive and he sent it to me. I had it blown up and framed. This was probably 10 years ago. I still have it despite moving like 7 times. MORAL OF THE STORY: I’m a huge fan. Huge huge.

This sums it up pretty well. It's almost like A Deathless Song but more emphasis on acoustics, which I dig. It seems like melodic metal bands out there need to have a softer tone to even things out from the aggressive/heavy stuff. Since Parkway's switched to this melodic metal direction, I've always said that they should take some influences from the band Insomnium...aggressive, yet when they want to go softer, it sounds like it fits the mould and isn't forced. Downside to this song was the vocals, autotune was way to noticeable for my liking.

When I was a kid this band was my first real metal core experience still here and blasting proud. . . Parkway always had and always will have the best guitar riffs
I don’t think I’ve ever had a band make me feel the music like these guys do. They always take me there! They’re one of my all-time favorites
When Winston started singing, a weird feeling went through my body and stayed in my chest. But not a bad weird, a good weird. Its just so... I don't even know, words cant even explain... All i can say is thankyou Parkway.. thankyou for this piece of art.. 😍😍😍

Reminds me a lot of buried alive by ax7 parkway is amazing, proud to be Aussie knowing i live within an hour and a half from where the lead singer grew up
Parkway Drive just keep getting better and better, I can't think of a bad Parkway song, they're all amazing and honestly, they're proving they can still stay heavy as fuck whilst coming out with songs like this, Winston is doing an awesome job, he's actually an awesome singer!

I consider this Masterpiece the "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" of this era. Such an incredible and powerful song. Greetings from 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico.
That first guitar solo at 2:00 had a nice Dire Straits sound to it.

Anybody notice the important Easter egg link between the Glitch video and this one? Pay attention to the first 15 sec of Glitch, the mask and skull from Darker Still are a nice decorative piece ;) Well done boys!

My first album from them was Atlas which I love, then came Ire, which I loved equally. Reverence wasn't a let down for me, but it's not something I can always listen to. I'm not really digging any of the new songs, hopefully there will be some on the album, but I'm okay with chance. One of my favourite bands is Enter Shikari, they are changing drastically each album and I loved each one of them. Those comments you are referring to are under most videos from big bands. Just as there are comments like yours under those.
Parkway Drive - Wind of Change Seriously epic track. Well done, boys!
Love this song, and so many more. Hoping to have a chance to see y'all in person soon
This gives me hardcore Metallica Unforgiven vibes. beautiful composition, lyrics that tell a story and a fantastic melodic solo. It's definitely different from what they normally put out but it's beautiful and I love it.

They are all a bunch of awesome Genuine Loyal Down To Earth Human Beings. This is what keeps they Truly Grounded Within Themselves All The Best Years Ahead.♥️💯💯💯👌👍👍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I'm not sure why but the break at 3:44 and some of the twirly guitar riffs that follow absolutely remind me of classic GnR and it absolutely fits perfectly into the song.
I wish there was a global tally of how many times people have listened to this track since release… I know for a fact I’ve listened to it over 500 times. No song has impacted me as hard as this has the past few years. Just perfect parkway. Honestly. Brings me close to tears it’s that powerful sonically & emotionally. CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS MASTERPIECE LIVE!!!!! With you Parkway, UNTIL I DIE!!
