Yeah.. My boy is just backed last year, we're just doing online dressage for fun. My competing days are long gone now I'm riddled with health issues and I'm not even 30 yet.. But as a youngster with his previous owner he's won all the in hand championship shows and he qualified for Blair Atholl last year -but it was cancelled.. Hes so far won a 3rd place in the dressage with me. 63.7% for his first ever test. I'm very pleased with him. 😎 especially since he only gets ridden like once a week to once a fortnight 🤣

in the USA its blue for 1st place, 2nd is red, 3rd is yellow, 4th is white, 5th is pink, 6th, is purple, 7th is green and 8th is brown

1:50 is extra funny when you're from the Netherlands. Our first place has an orange ribbon, red is second, white is third and blue is fourth.

Huh? Here it goes blue first, red second, third yellow, forth white, fifth pink, green’s 6, purple is seventh and then brown is 8th (I assume you already know that o just enjoy listing all the ribbon colors that I will never win)

This is why I like the schooling show method for ribbons, based on score. So it’s more about how well you do yourself than comparing yourself to others. And I can solidly feel proud that I got a red for the second level dressage test I did in my last show, which’ll probably be the last I can do before college. There’s always further to go though :)

UK: 1st Red 2nd Royal Blue 3rd Yellow 4th Green 5th Pink 6th Purple 7-8th other colours. 🤣 Same for sheep, horses, cattle, etc. America is strange for changing the colours. 🤣 I did win a 1st place, I was the only one in the class. 🤣🤣

Lol! Amy’s ribbons hang all dusty on the barn wall next to pictures of her and all the animals from 4H and her horse, Sheba. She never mentions them at all but I teasingly call her “Winnie” or just “wins” because there are so many.
