I notice you are fishing a long lash between float & elastic, is there a reason for this on the canal, great work well done & well deserved.

Thanks mate, it's not an overly long lash but i tend to fish a longer lash on canal rigs as they are usually on lighter lines. A longer lash helps prevent tangles and you don't want tangles on light lines as they rarely come out!

The division one national was always the biggest competition in match fishing. Nowadays it's all about who can land the most carp on a massively overstocked piss pond. That to me is not match fishing! Bring back the good old days when anglers had to have more than one go to method.

@@pleasantville4529 Not the ones I fish mate , the same old faces are doing the damage on the whole . I like to fish all-sorts of venues including rivers and feel that commercial fisheries get a bad rap .
