That was a master class in stand up, especially for an audition. Funny, smooth delivery, relatable topics, unassuming but in control, clever use of deflection and bringing audience back, and established a memorable move and catchphrase. Topical, anecdotal, observational, self deprecating, physical comedy and one-liners. Well done. Also, it's about time the black comedian beats the kid ventriloquist.

Love how his son was just like, I knew that would happen! That pure love n belief in his dad was boss to see!!!

He's definitely a natural, master of his craft, knows how to work the crowd, let alone turns boring stuff into contagious laughs. Definitely deserves it! Can't wait to see when Simon would start showing off his kitchen area!! :-)

He was absolutely great, I really enjoyed his performance a lot. English is not my native language, but even so I could understand almost everything and I laughed a lot. He deserved to win, definitely and as Simon said, I never thought it would be possible to laugh with something about Covid.

I am so happy Axel won.. I didn't even know until just now I put his name in youtube to see how he did "AND he WON" Awesome man.

OMG! I was literally in stitches during this whole video. I started listening to this as background noise while I was at work, and I got nothing done! I was laughing too much! Great job Axel! Great choice for a golden buzzer, and great choice for the people who voted him the winner!

What I love the most about him is how everytime he comes on the show, he connects his best jokes from previous shows to his new ones and all of us recognize them and think we r v smart and that no one else did 😅 In all seriousness..... man this old lady strong and in style never get old 😂

Same here. Most comedy isn't that funny to me, if at all. But Axel is so funny! And his smile is beautiful and radiant. He smiles with those eyes too. So happy for his success!
