I’ve been carefully reviewing all these vans recently. Like he said, doesn’t meet all criteria but does hit a lot of boxes. I’m thinking it’s the right decision too ! Congrats !!! Have fun ...

Great video! We are moving to Utah soon and will be getting a Revel and selling my beloved VW Westfalia and looking forward to many adventures in the Revel. The VW has been awesome but it is time for a change. more videos please.

Yes, I'm loving it. And it's getting a lot of snow time these days.

We have a Sprinter View right now and it's great. But when the grandkids don't come with us anymore, I wouldn't mind downsizing to something like this and doing more off roading occasionally. I've learned to stay well back from big rigs due to buffeting. Looks like you discovered that too.

I find the size is like driving my toyota truck. Other that a little restricted visually, it's doesn't drive like a big vehicle.

It's on my list. Needing some warm sun these days. Was a long winter in Steamboat.

Great video. When you said you guys are bikers, I was wondering where you were gonna keep the bikes Can't say I was glued to the screen, but was relieved when I heard one of your last mods would be a trailer. Any way I can see the one your looking at? I always figured an enclosed trailer like a U-Haul would be the best choice unless you're riding large highway eaters. An additional solar panel could go on the roof and there’d be extra secure cargo space for diesel fuel, water, maybe a generator.

Pick up my revel next Friday. Took it for a drive from the dealer today. I asked the dealer to just take it for a spin no problem. Drives great and will be such an upgrade from my Westy, I will still miss my westy

@@2005CessnaPilot pretty happy with it so far, it’s like my westy on steroids the new owner of my Westy sends me pics of the van at the beach or all cozy in the garage and it kills me every time. Lot’s of great memories, now making new ones

But since this is my first time to purchase something this big, and midway across the country, I am hesistant. Do I grab the first offer they give me ( a better deal than what I'm getting so far) or I haggle for more discount? Appreciate any inputs / suggestions you can provide. IG account @jezpassinthru.

How's the seats at the settee? Is it comfortable/safe for long-distance travel? Are there shoulder belts on the seats? I can see the bench is a bit narrow. Can it actually seat 2 people?

The bench seat can fit two but it's just lap belts. It's not bad but not great either. The van has loads of safety features so hopefully you never need shoulder belts.

What other rigs were you checking out before settling for the Winnebago? Storyteller overland 4x4 makes a van similar to this.

Yep, looked into the Overland and love many aspects of it. But also couldn't find one for sale at the time. Plus, they were a lot more money. For the $$, the Revel just seemed to be the best value. That is if you're looking for self contained rig that's ready for boondocking AS-IS. Sure one might make minor modifications but it's truly turn-key and ready.

@@maxlove4821 Don't confuse being broke for being smart, LOL. We bought our Airstream 3 years old from the original owner in mint condition, saved 25 Grand . The first time you drive this rig you will watch about 40 grand come out of your wallet when you try to sell it. That's fine if you're made of money, I'd rather spend that money...

Price. And I wanted to break it in correctly. One that had 35 miles on it not 1,000 of unknown miles.

@@stingeknee8549 A great experience overall and I never felt pressured or out of the loop. In hindsight, I would have liked to spent a little more time in the orientation because there's just so much to take in. I also wished I toured the Revel factory. I toured Winnebago but not the Revel plant. That was shut down for a week or two.

As a semi truck driver, please tell me you did NOT park that little van that would fit in a car spot, in an overnight Semi Truck spot.

There's always a compromise. If you want a bigger RV, they suck more fuel and are harder to park and maneuver around town. This thing is the perfect size for me and my spouse to do some occasional touring in.

Its very small from the outside, but for one adult you will be lost if your under 200 lbs, two adults , lets just say COZY:) add a five pound dog, still ok:)

New one ? About 150K , most will want to buy used that can’t afford that kind of expense . Nice RV but they want way too much for one of these rigs .
