@@WinnebagoRVs The Pure3 combined with the water inside is a game changer. Great job. Have to check the web site to see if the gray tank is heated. Undercarriage protection and an inch or two more ground clearance would just be to the moon. Edited to remove reference to auto start which is not available on the Revel.

12:14 That suspended net is perfect for storing camera bag as it help reduces road vibration damage to camera and lenses.

I loved the garage area box drawers you installed on your older Revel . Now , with the garage area having the electrical system , batterries , water controls etc , an efficient floor box drawer set-up in a 2021 Revel looks to be a very difficult build . Do you have any plans of tackling such an upgrade in a 2021 ?

I have been looking for the perfect van, and I really think a 144 inch would be best, but I haven’t found one that really works space wise until know. Really amazing job!

The refrigerator should be using the double latch format so that you can open it from either side. I'm thinking that'll be next update. Love seeing this camper, didn't know a 4x4 camper van like this existed. My dream vehicle for the future.

I hope the awning has side panels when there is rain with a little wind. It offers a small area of protection as is but more so because it is quite high.

Great review. No microwave with this model? I saw the Storyteller does. Just comparing the two.

Suggestion: See that sheet/blanket you have on the ground? Could you create some sort of device that could wind such a carpet to be pulled out - it can stay dirty as it nestles under the vehicle but the top side relatively clean (rinse off with a hose?) as it rolls into itself.

Great video. I love this motorhome. BUT, I’d really like to see a sink integrated in the bathroom AND I’d like to see the heated/3 position memory seats up front like you see in many other Mercedes camper vans.

Roof top hidden extendable solar panels for day use while parked coming out drivers side and also coming out over the front of vehicleand retracted for night ,plus giving more access at night to the top with more ladder positions ,,,,2 more lithium batteries,,,,,roof top flat platform for dining ,,photographing,,,,tent,,,,stargazing,,,,,, reduce ac to a 8000 btu air conditioner that uses only 650 watts ,,,,,move the ac as far forward as possible and off center toward the front passenger side and or find an ac unit that is long instead of square,to be positioned far front,,,,,exhaust fan over the rear of bed will pull hot air out while pulling cold air from floor.,,,,,,winter time i want rack on garage floor to hold from moving 8-5 gallon jugs of diesel, and in summer can use the same space for storing 8-5 gallon jugs of water. or combinations of both, to carry the cheap lightweight twin tub washing machine that can lay flat or on sides when not in use,and also a large freezer that will contain food to service camps with frozen milk and butter and ice cream and lots of milk chocolate bars or lots of cold beer ,,LOL,,,,WOODSTOCK 1969 HERE WE COME DESERTSTOCK 2021,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,price for enhancements total $181,000.

Really nice improved unit! However, the bed, when up, covers the a/c unit. So you can only use the a/c with the bed down?

Hi, I have a new 2020, and I love it, but there is a flaw in the windows on the side. I was in the Sequoia national forest parked with the sliding door window popped open about half way, when a decent gust of wind blew, and the window flipped upward very hard, and popped out of the top railing, and could not be put back, except for at the dealership. The window needs a restriction from flying open when like a nylon tagline affixed to the window, and the inside of window to prevent this from happening again, which I'm sure will. I know others have, or will deal with this. Dealership had my van for 10 days.., still Love the van though. I will do my own fix.

My question relates to stability when driving. How much of an issue is the high profile of the camper when making turns or in high wined conditions?

I like EVERYTHING about this Revel! Well ... not the price tag. But in a few years when the Air travel is back and RVs start flooding the market, maybe I will be able to get one in a price range I could handle.

I see how you coordinated you shirt, pants, and shoes! Very metro, very nice. If only you had worn a coordinated ball cap!

The ladder is a great idea , I dont think many people think of how they gain access to the roof .

I've been following the FB Revel group for years. Most people throw away the stock ladder. Serious. You can't give them away.....

This is nice but it’s so overbuilt technologically that there’s plenty that can go wrong and the cost of repair could be astronomical. My experience in the back country is that simple is better, particularly on extended trips in challenging conditions. There’s not much on this coach that you can service/repair yourself and that’s a problem in MHO.

I agree it’s overbuilt and could be expensive to repair. I have a simple suggestion to Winnebago and other van conversion builders: Since many people will be far from a repair shop, parts store or even a cel signal when things break... how about making everything that is motorized also have a backup manual function? Examples: If battery is dead, the owner could still roll windows down, open the side door manually, if the van has slide-outs, those could be hand-cranked, etc. Thanks for the professionally shot & edited video, and for the great design for the 2021! I am not at all surprised about the price. You get what you pay for! I could go buy 6 used RVs for the same as 1 Revel ... probably 8 mpg, too wide & long for any kind of adventures, unless just giving up on that adventure dream and staying at a KOA Park, ha!

I have simple for you. Get an empty Van and put a tent, sleeping bag and an alcohol stove inside of it. The interior is portable but you still have to bring dedicated material and tools to repair the tent.

Please do a video on how you got your RV to and around Europe. The Revel would work great there. No worries about Euro 240 power and Euro propane connections.

can you add a ski cargo box to the roof without obstructing solar panels? You show kayaks and also a pair of cross bars extending beyond the awning. thanks

What do you do if it’s 95 degrees outside all day and night, how do you run the ac to sleep? Boondocking?

I wish they could Add some Motorizing expand panel to add few more inch interior space like in some leisure travel van models

Great review of the new Revel. The garage area still has plenty of space for gear. I’ve heard from some reviews that the new layout holds less. Any drawbacks to living full-time in the Revel as compared to a Travato for example?

Would those batteries run the AC all night? If you were in the south in July? How would you charge them back up the next day?

Almost perfect. Here in Florida we lived and died by our generator in our Class A being able to tun the AC. Since there was no mention that the extra alternator could run the AC I assume it can’t. I know you can run the AC with a operable 2000 watt inverter generator if you add a soft start cap to the AC unit. But damn, if this thing only had a diesel Onan for when you need it built in. I’m guessing you’d get maybe 1 hour of AC off the batteries.

Why do I need the zippers on the door screens? Are they superfluous with the magnetic strips in place?

Thank You for the tour of a $168.000 dollar van. It appears you are either a spokesperson or got a good deal on the 2021 Winnebago Revel. I am sure & realize there is something for everyone out there. For me Winnebago, anything they make is just way to over priced. Years ago went to school with a really good friend who's Dad was Vice President of Winnebago. My friend did not like them at all. I have nothing against the older models at the time. Through the years have learned the construction of RV's in Plants verses building or having built is much better in so many ways & structurely sound & solid. Safe Travels & Safe Health!

250ah will give you maybe 1.75 hours of run time. However, this does come with a second alternator. Just start the van.

To run AC, you need 800ah battery.

For one or two people, I wonder if that dinette is needed. I think I'd rather have a bigger fridge, or more storage, or something else, and just have a table with the two front seats.

What does the disconnect switch in the back do differently than the battery panel switch (battery on/off) up front?

when you showed us the fridge , I just had a quick thought as to it being a shame that the door didnt open from either side . making access easier when you load up from your shopping cart .

I haven't done it personally, But I think you can change the side the door opens on. I find that it swings open far enough to allow easy loading in its current configuration from inside the van or in the parking lot.

Definitely wish they went with a slide out chest freezer instead. Way more energy efficient and storage is increased too. When all the cold air doesn't just leak out when you open the door, you can afford to have less insulation.

How did you transport your Revel RV across the Atlantic ocean to Europe? I'm thinking of doing that on board a Cargo vessel that I am learning you can do on KZread. How did you do it? Also, what modifications are necessary when wanting to use a USA built vehicle in Europe to conform to their fuel and emissions regulations?

Does this camper van use the Volta system?

I wonder if there is room for more batteries and what would they cost !

I didnt see a generator input mentioned for charging when the solar isn't performing

Does the fridge door open from both directions?

Winnebago please make the bed removable! That garage area would make a great workspace/dual monitor stand up desk. The best thing about a Sprinter is the stand up height.

What are the names of the apps for the AC/battery/awning? Silly that you need 3 different ones.

I like this. What is the fresh water amount. And grey water tank size. Can external be blue and white rather than green?

What is the benefit of having the bed raised as opposed to folding it to the side? It seems like you lose the head space. I guess if it was on its side, it would lose side space. Also, when the bed is raised, does it mean the AC cannot operate?

nice to see Bago use up some of that old fabric on something, basically a aftermarket built RV, Price?

You should have 230V as well, it’s a travel van 🤷🏻‍♂️ but compared to the James Cook Classic or a Marco Polo and given the price of this van, i have to say, it looks a lot like someone’s DIY project…

@PeterHolcombe What do you use for internet while working so remotely? Since you mentioned you work in video, you must use some decent bandwidth. This is one barrier of our going out on longer trips.
