This is the dream! Chaining roundhouses from frontside to backside. Absolutely killer riding! Thanks once again for providing the stoke!

Smooth riding. You make it look easy! Nice to have such a long ride compared to regular surfing.

This is a very enjoyable format. Watching this, nibbling on a piece of chocolate, after dinner, with a lovely cup of specialty coffee, thinking of what to try out during the next winging session. Thanks!

Nice commentaries on what you are doing. I can’t wait to progress to your level of mastery. I have to choose the right conditions at the Georgia coast because if there’s not enough wind at critical tide changes, you will get carried up or down the beach way past your launch location. Because of that, I have forfeited many sessions. I also think my 90L board is sluggish and too big (I’m 110 lbs) and difficult even to get the board unstuck to fly. When it’s warm it’s not always windy around there and 10 mph is usually not enough.

Thanks!!! Ya pretty big board for your size. Matching litres to your weight is good. You get the float east starts. Can paddle back in if need be. Also offshore winds is possible when u can float out.

Great video and commentary. That's the kind of riding I aspire to and a big reason why I got into wing foiling! What foil and mast do you find works well for this style of riding and conditions?

Thanks, You can do it! I use 32” (82cm) mast when winging. I find this to be just right combo of length.

10:23 wing tip breach caused fall ? Well, that would have been my excuse. 😆

Haaa probably. Getting better at those. The HAX series make it easier and fun to get the tips out!

Some great tips here. I have been winging for about 1 year , started in the fall 2021 but had a hernia surgery in Feb 2022 and was out of the water until May 2022 then in August 2022 had a neck injury requiring surgery and was out of the water until this past July. Anyway, In Flatter conditions I make about 3 or 4 gybes in row then fall; A couple of days ago I was out at a different spot in pretty high winds and bigger swells. I was only able to make every other gybe? when I was carving from toeside to heelside gybe and into the waves (3-4 feet) the surge for the wave kept breaching the foil. I do use a pretty big foil btw. Gong Fluid 1950 Sq. Cm. My board is a Code 98 liters and i weigh about 190 pounds. That day I was on a Slingshot 4.4 (wind was 15-30) Got up for the most part no problem it was the gybes that I had trouble with. Any suggestions? thanks

Try a smaller foil. When u pick up speed with that large of a front wing, it becomes very hard to control. So much lift is generated. Even in 3-4 ft. Wave. Smaller foil you’ll have way more control

Great video and commentary! Aspiring to do this is one key reason I got into winging. What foil and board would you recommend for this type of riding and conditions?

Hey. The lift 150 HAX is the one I was using I believe. Great versatile wing
