Although our Wing Chun training does include all the traditional aspects including the hand forms. Sil lim Tao, Chum kui, and Bui Jee . Also the weapon training 6 ½ point pole, Butterfly knives and Wooden Dummy. Each of these parts has been broken down re analyzed and improved to enhance our complete fighting system.

Master Wong, I am most impressed by two things. I like your balance of internal/external energy and the precision you demonstrate with the biu jee. Precision is required to make the biu jee work as it is supposed to. I have watched a few of your videos and it seems your interpretation of wing Chun fits my ideal. Chain punch is to simple, chained attack is more the idea. Hit multiple levels effectively and end the fight with certainty. Biu jee is not meant to be chained. It must be used precisely in either attack or defense.

Wing Chun fantasy world! Break rips, break knee, break neck, break, break, break! In how many fights somebody got something broken 1 from 50 fights or 1 from 100? Those are trained strong fighters with strong kick and punch. Not even they have enough power to break the rips. Why you dont go into some mma or thai fight break the bones of the enemy and become champion? It is not against the rule to break rips!

Shifu Wong. I just went to a siminar for praying mantis chi sao and wing chun chi sao. I practice with both practioneers of each style. The pray7ng mantis styles was deep and hard the wing chun guy was soft. I realise to become efficient and be more controlling I had to adapt both into one sometimes using praying mantis pressure and wing chun softness. Keeping the Wing chun Chi sao circle and adding praying mantis hand with in the structure. This gave me better control and confuse the practioneers. I know I need to stay with one style of chi sao structure so I prefer wing chun chi sao. The question is should I adapt it in my chi sao or do what other shifus says don't mix use your taditonal methods. I think I pissed off one of the Shifu in which I highly respect him and look at him as one of my inspiration to learning the many concepts and systems that uses sticky hands as a way of attack and defense. Am I wrong for saying this at the siminar?
